Nour E. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Slipping past the crowds with skip-the-line access made Istanbul feel so much more gentle. Our guide got us into Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque without the usual waiting, then we wandered the Grand Bazaar. The Bosphorus cruise at sunset was calm and beautiful. Everything flowed, no stress at all.

Ezequiel P. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

Our guide made us feel like old friends from the first minute. Walking around Sultanahmet, he told stories, and in the Grand Bazaar he calmly gathered the ones who got lost, and on the Bosphorus cruise he kept us laughing. Even little things like sharing tea at night felt like family. But some stops had long waiting, so not 5 stars.

Emilio G. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Hotel pick-up was flawless; the air-con bus made Old City sights and the Bosphorus cruise feel easy, no stress.

Hassan R. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

What hit me most was the golden hour on the Bosphorus; the water turned copper and the minarets went pink-gold. Our guide didn’t overtalk, just paused us in the right spots, and the city kinda did the storytelling. Drifting past, the Old City looked like it was painted. I keep thinking about that view, honestly it felt perfect.

Toomas K. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

Our guide kept pointing out hidden photo spots in tiny streets; the Balat walls and back lanes near Galata were basically magazine covers. On the Bosphorus cruise I tried to selfie with a seagull, the seagull won. The history bits were short but enough, and the Katalay team handled things calmly. But the crowds in the Grand Bazaar got a bit squishy, my lens cap almost escaped.

Andreas K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Pickup flawless, aircon bus comfy.

Iker G. 3.0 / 5 Average

Guide stories were top, but stops felt kinda rushed.

Kofi A. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

They picked us at hotel, AC bus was super clean; zero stress.

Benjamín P. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our guide zipped us around; Old City, Grand Bazaar, and Bosphorus cruise—I rolled like a simit, perfect.

Maha A. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Hotel pick-up was flawless; the air-conditioned bus felt so comfy, I melted on the Bosphorus cruise.

Gonzalo P. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

Our guide kinda glued us together from the start, felt like traveling with cousins. Old City walks around Hagia Sophia area, Sultanahmet, and the Grand Bazaar had quick stories, never boring. On the Bosphorus cruise we sipped tea and chatted, super chill. But a couple stops felt rushed coz of crowds, so not 5 stars. Still, Katalay team took good care of us.

Ezequiel R. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our guide was obsessed with stone and marble details, and honestly so was I. In the Old City the columns, arches, mosaics… felt alive. Basilica Cistern silence + skyline from the Bosphorus, hit me right.

Ezequiel P. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our guide slipped us in before the crowds woke up, and Istanbul felt totally different. Instead of standing in lines, I got lost in the cool stones of Hagia Sophia, the light in the Blue Mosque, and the stories at Topkapi. On the Bosphorus cruise, the wind hit my face and I just watched the city in silence, kind of emotional. The Katalay team kept it smooth, I only had to feel it.

Marek P. 3.0 / 5 Average

The guide’s Old City stories were gripping, but stops felt rushed and sometimes way too crowded.

Faisal A. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our guide made us feel like family from minute one, funny and always checking on us. Old City walks and the Bosphorus cruise felt easy, like hanging with friends.

Yuxuan L. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our guide’s stories unlocked the city; Topkapi, Hagia Sophia, and the Bosphorus cruise felt like living history, all perfect.

Sindre L. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

The guide made ancient arches and ruins so vivid, even the stones made me laugh; everything was perfect.

Matteo G. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

Loved the small group vibe, felt kinda exclusive like exploring with a friend. Old City hits like Hagia Sophia and the Grand Bazaar flowed nicely, and the Bosphorus cruise was super chill. But the waiting at a couple stops ran long, so not a 5.

Tharindu P. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our guide paused in a corridor at Topkapi Palace and told an old intrigue story, and I got goosebumps; the stones felt like they were talking. The Bosphorus cruise was a calm breath too, everything felt perfect.

Brianna K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

The moment we got on the Bosphorus boat I finally got why people talk about Istanbul so much. The Old City days were busy but not overwhelming; we walked around Sultanahmet, got lost in the Grand Bazaar, and our guide explained the Hagia Sophia story in a simple way. Everything ran pretty smooth and pickups were on time. Only thing is some stops were super crowded, but that’s Istanbul. I left really happy.

Youssef B. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Sunset city looked like candy.

Shira L. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

My favorite moment was crossing the Bosphorus by boat and seeing the city on two continents at once. The guide didn’t make the history boring, just explained in small bits. Walking around Sultanahmet, getting a little lost in the Grand Bazaar, and the crowds around Hagia Sophia… it all felt like real Istanbul. Hotel pickups were on time, only one day we were a bit late because of traffic, but it was ok.

Matías P. 3.0 / 5 Average

Cistern corners and Bosphorus views were photo gold, but stops felt rushed.

Fahad A. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our guide made us feel like family from minute one, wallah. Wandering the Old City, Sultanahmet area and Grand Bazaar was super. On the Bosphorus cruise we just sipped tea and laughed… everything felt perfect, zero stress.

Taimi K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Instead of getting swallowed by crowds, we kinda slipped right in. Skip-the-line is gold; walked into Hagia Sophia and Topkapi with zero waiting. Guide kept it short and clear, not a lecture. Bosphorus cruise was the perfect reset, sunset hit different. Katalay team was always around, no stress. 5/5, easy trip.

Akosua B. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

I couldn’t believe how much of Istanbul we covered in such a short time. Walking Sultanahmet, getting a bit lost in the Grand Bazaar, then feeling the wind on the Bosphorus cruise made my heart soft, even now I miss it. The guide explained history in a simple way, but some stops felt rushed because of the crowds.

Mei-Ling C. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

Watching the sunset on the Bosphorus, I suddenly felt like I belonged with strangers from so many countries. Walking around Sultanahmet, hearing stories near Hagia Sophia, and getting lost in the Grand Bazaar stayed with me, kind of sweet and sad. The guide was kind and the Katalay team helped a lot, but some stops were too crowded, so not 5 stars.

Selamawit K. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

The wow moment for me was when our guide took us to a tiny fishermen lane under Galata Bridge; the light, spice colors, and mosques in the background made my photos look pro. The Bosphorus cruise gave nice shots too, but the Spice Bazaar was a bit too crowded.

Bence K. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

Our guide led us into backstreets; colorful doors and rooftop views were perfect for photos, but the Grand Bazaar was too crowded to frame shots.

Niamh K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

I thought I’d be swallowed by crowds, but we basically slid past them. The guide got us skipping lines at Topkapi and the Basilica Cistern, so I felt like a VIP (minus the crown). Old City walks were the right pace, nobody got lost, which is a miracle. On the Bosphorus cruise I made eye contact with a seagull and I’m pretty sure it judged me. Everything ran smooth.

Javier C. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

What hit me most was stepping onto the Bosphorus cruise late afternoon; with our small group it felt kinda private. The guide told stories about Topkapi and Sultanahmet in a calm way, no rushing at all. Even in a busy city, it felt like we had our own moment. Katalay team had everything smooth, I just watched the skyline and smiled.

Onalenna K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our guide paused in the courtyard at Topkapi Palace and told one story that made the stones feel alive. It wasn’t history as dates, it was people and secrets, and I honestly got goosebumps. The Bosphorus cruise later felt calm in the best way, like a reset. Everything ran smooth and the Katalay team was on time every time.

Tuomas K. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

Our guide was super attentive in the small group, Bosphorus cruise felt kinda exclusive, but Grand Bazaar was too crowded.

Ezequiel B. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

We packed in sooo much fast; guide was smooth, everything felt perfect.

Nafisa R. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

I loved the moment we got on the Bosphorus boat, the wind and city lights felt so nice. The Old City walks were also good; Sultanahmet Square, Grand Bazaar, Galata Bridge all gave a different mood. Our guide explained history without making it boring, told small details. Hotel and transfers were smooth, only one day the meeting time was a bit confusing but it got fixed fast.

Karim S. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Golden hour turned the city rainbow; I laughed.

Akosua B. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

My most unexpected moment was catching that sunset light on the boat. Our guide kept slipping us into tiny courtyards and backstreets away from the crowds, proper photo gold. A rooftop view near Sirkeci and those colorful steps in Balat… every shot looked pro without trying. Katalay team was chill too, zero stress.

Renzo P. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

What hit me most was seeing the city spread out on two continents while we were on the Bosphorus boat. Our guide explained the history without making it too long, and stayed calm even when we got a bit lost in the Grand Bazaar :) Walking around Sultanahmet was really nice, specially near sunset. Hotel was fine, breakfast a little repetitive but I didn’t mind. Overall it felt easy and full of good moments.

Ciarán O. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

What stuck with me most was how the Old City streets could feel quiet for a minute and then you’re back in the buzz again. Our guide explained the little details at Topkapi Palace and the bits of history around Sultanahmet really well. We had some free time in the Grand Bazaar, easy to get turned around but honestly that was part of the fun. The Bosphorus cruise landed in the late afternoon, a bit windy but the views were class. Hotel was clean too, breakfast was fine.

Thando K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

The moment the wind hit my face on the Bosphorus cruise, Istanbul suddenly felt so alive. The walks in the Old City were a good pace; around Sultanahmet, seeing Hagia Sophia from outside, and popping into the Grand Bazaar was proper fun. Our guide kept the stories simple, not too heavy. Small thing: a few stops got a bit crowded, but that’s Istanbul for you. Overall it felt easy and well planned.

Bram V. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Guide made ancient stone arches feel unreal.

Mikkel R. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

Our guide kept finding little backstreets so photogenic my phone started acting like a pro camera. The colorful stairs in Balat and the tiny lanes around Galata were pure photo bait (I fell for it). On the Bosphorus cruise I tried sharing simit with the seagulls… let’s say the seagulls won. However the Grand Bazaar was a bit too crowded, sometimes I framed elbows instead of tiles. Still, really fun.

Mubarak A. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

The hotel pick-up ran like clockwork, and the air-conditioned bus felt like a cool shelter all day. Wandering the Old City was so smooth; in Sultanahmet I could almost feel the history breathing. On the Bosphorus cruise, lights on the water made me weirdly emotional, like going back to an old memory. Guide was kind, Katalay team didn’t miss a beat.

Farah N. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

The thing I keep thinking about is the Bosphorus cruise when the city lights started coming on and seagulls were flying close to us. The Old City days were packed but not rushed. Our guide explained the stories behind Topkapi Palace and the Basilica Cistern in an easy way, not boring. Walking around Sultanahmet in the evening felt really nice, only some spots were super crowded. Hotel was clean, breakfast was ok lah.

Mirko B. 3.0 / 5 Average

So much seen, but too rushed.

Răzvan P. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

Our guide slipped us into backstreets; Galata stairs and Balat walls were like a photo studio, and I kept posing like a clown. But the Grand Bazaar was a bit too crowded, even my camera needed space.

Florian K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Somehow the city got under my skin while the lights slid past us on the Bosphorus at night. In a short time we covered so much: the Old City lanes, the weight of Hagia Sophia, around Sultanahmet, and the chaos of the Grand Bazaar. The guide ran it like clockwork but never made it feel rushed, which I really loved. Even back home, I still think about the spice smell.

Tahlia W. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

What stuck with me most was cruising on the Bosphorus and seeing both sides of the city at once. Our guide kept the stories simple but interesting, and I felt a bit lost (in a good way) around Topkapi Palace and the Basilica Cistern. The Grand Bazaar was a little overwhelming, but still fun. Hotel and transfers went smooth, nothing felt rushed.

Yender P. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our guide dragged us into tiny lanes and suddenly we found a postcard courtyard; I tried to make pigeons pose like models and failed hard. Little rooftops in the old city were pure gold for pro-looking photos, and the Bosphorus cruise had movie light. Katalay team kept everything smooth.

Renzo Q. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

The moment we got on the Bosphorus cruise I felt calm, the city suddenly looked softer. The Old City walks were full but not exhausting; even getting lost in the Grand Bazaar was fun. Our guide shared little history stories without making it boring. The hotel wasn’t fancy, but clean, and breakfast was ok. A couple times the Katalay team helped fast by message.

Taavi K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our guide dodged crowds like a ninja; with skip-the-line we got into Topkapi before my simit even cooled, and the Bosphorus cruise had me laughing too.

Jordi C. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

When the wind hit my face on the Bosphorus cruise, I felt like I finally “got” Istanbul. The walks in the Old City were really nice; Sultanahmet Square, Grand Bazaar and the Spice Bazaar were so alive. Our guide explained stories in a simple way, not too much info dump. Only thing is some stops felt a bit rushed and the group was kinda big, but overall it was well organised. Hotel location helped a lot too.

Yegor P. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

At sunset on the Bosphorus, Istanbul glowed gold and pink; the guide spoke softly, everything felt perfect.

Miroslav K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our guide whisked us inside; strolling peacefully before the crowds felt unreal.

Tadas K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

The moment we got on the Bosphorus boat Istanbul showed a different side, wind, seagulls and those waterfront houses. The Old City walk was also good; around Hagia Sophia and Sultanahmet it’s crowded but the guide told the stories in a nice way. The schedule was mostly well planned, only in the Grand Bazaar I wished for a bit more free time. Hotel location worked for us, in evenings we could walk out and find food easy.

Harriet P. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Somewhere between the narrow lanes of Sultanahmet, I kept noticing the stonework up close—arches, worn capitals, and courtyards that still feel alive. Our guide explained the history without overdoing it and pointed out tiny details in the older ruins I’d have missed. The Basilica Cistern was moody and echoey in the best way. On the Bosphorus cruise, seeing palace facades from the water felt like a different city. The Katalay team ran it all smoothly, no stress at all.

Jordi P. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

My wow moment was boarding the Bosphorus cruise at sunset; somehow we still fit in Topkapi, Sultanahmet, and the Grand Bazaar without feeling rushed. The guide kept it smooth, no wasted time at all.

Rami H. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Walking through Sultanahmet, I felt even the stones were whispering stories. The guide explained old columns, arches, and mosaics in a way that made my chest tight. On the Bosphorus cruise, palace facades glowed at sunset; everything felt perfect, I’m still there in my head.

Florian K. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

What surprised me most was how you can feel calm in one corner of the city and then step into total chaos a few minutes later. The Old City walk was solid; the guide explained the stories around Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque well, and we got some free time in the Grand Bazaar. The Bosphorus cruise in the late afternoon was really nice, the lights were beautiful. Only thing, the pace was sometimes a bit rushed and the meeting point one day was slightly confusing.

Bartosz K. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

What stayed with me most was sitting on the boat in the evening and watching the city lights on the Bosphorus. The guide told the stories around Sultanahmet in a nice way, and getting a bit lost in the Grand Bazaar was fun. Only thing, at a couple stops it felt a little rushed, I wanted more free time. Overall it was well organized, hotel was ok too.

Yassine B. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

Our guide slipped us in before the crowds, like we had a secret door. We wandered the Old City with almost no lines, and I even got lost in the Spice Bazaar and had to bribe myself back with lokum. The Bosphorus cruise was chill. But a couple stops felt a bit rushed.

Fahad A. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

What surprised me most was how calm the city felt once we were on the Bosphorus cruise. Walking around the Old City was nice, and the guide explained the history without making it boring. I got a bit lost in the Grand Bazaar, but thats part of the fun. Hotel was comfy and the transfers came on time. Only thing is some stops were really crowded, but it’s Istanbul.

Radu M. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

The most unexpected part for me was the Bosphorus cruise; at sunset the city looks totally different. The walks in the old city were busy but still fun, and I got a bit lost in the Grand Bazaar :) Our guide was very normal and helpful, with good history info. Hotel was ok, breakfast was same every day but fine. Overall the 5 days went super fast.

Brianna K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Everything just clicked; hotel pickup on time, comfy AC bus. Guide was fun too, and the Bosphorus cruise felt unreal.

Wei Ming L. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

On the Bosphorus cruise we were just a few of us; the guide’s stories made it feel so exclusive, everything was spot on.

Farhan S. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

When our guide pulled me into a tiny back street, I thought “ok, I’m lost,” but it was a perfect photo spot. Little courtyards and rooftop views in the old city were pro-level; I kept posing with simit crumbs on my shirt. On the Bosphorus cruise the light was so good even my phone looked talented.

Dario K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

The Bosphorus cruise surprised me the most, the city suddenly feels calm from the water. The Old City walk was also nice; around Sultanahmet every corner feels like a different story. The guide had a lot of info but it didn’t feel boring, and he answered questions patiently. Hotel was totally fine, only one night there was some street noise. Overall the pace was good, not rushed.

Thando M. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

The moment I didn’t expect was stepping onto the boat on the Bosphorus, with the city lights hitting the water, I just went quiet. Our guide told stories in a nice way, not making it feel like a school lesson. Walking around Sultanahmet, getting a bit lost in the Grand Bazaar, and the spice smell in the Egyptian Bazaar were my kind of thing. Hotel was decent, breakfast got a bit repetitive but ok. Overall it felt easy and full days.

Giacomo F. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

What struck me most was how quickly I felt lost (in a good way) in Sultanahmet, with a story on every corner. The guide explained Topkapi Palace and the Grand Bazaar nicely, not too dry. The Bosphorus cruise in the late afternoon was my favorite part, with the lights coming on and that cool wind. Only downside: a couple stops felt rushed and we waited around for the bus, but overall it ran pretty smooth.

Tadas K. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

Golden hour on the Bosphorus was pure color, but the Grand Bazaar was too crowded.

Kwame N. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

The breeze on the Bosphorus cruise was the moment I felt Istanbul properly for the first time. We covered the Old City with Sultanahmet, Hagia Sophia and the Grand Bazaar; the guide knew the history well but sometimes walked too fast. Hotel was decent and the transfers were on time. Katalay team replied quick when I asked stuff. Overall I enjoyed it, just wanted a bit more free time.

Giorgio L. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

The moment we got on the boat on the Bosphorus, I saw Istanbul in a different way. The guide told stories around Hagia Sophia and Sultanahmet without overdoing it, and I liked that. I got a bit lost in the Grand Bazaar but honestly that’s part of the fun. Hotels were decent, transfers on time. And catching the sunset near Galata was really nice.

Prabesh K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our guide kind of slipped us through the chaos, and skipping the ticket lines felt like a huge relief. I couldn’t believe we found quiet moments inside Hagia Sophia and around Sultanahmet. At Topkapi the stories were so vivid, they stayed with me even after I went back home. On the Bosphorus cruise, wind on my face, Istanbul felt like an old dream. Katalay team kept it all smooth, not one stressful moment.

Lennart H. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

Walking around Sultanahmet with our guide made everything feel less chaotic. I liked how he explained the details in Hagia Sophia and the Basilica Cistern. The Bosphorus cruise was honestly the best part, especially in the late afternoon light. Hotel was ok, but my room was a bit noisy and breakfast got repetitive. Overall it was well planned.

Renato G. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

What I didn’t expect was the Bosphorus cruise to be my favorite part; at sunset it felt so calm and the city lights started popping up. Walking around the Old City was intense but in a good way, every corner had another story. I got a bit lost in the Grand Bazaar (kinda part of it). The guide explained history in a simple way, not boring. Hotel pickups were on time.

Hessa A. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

Our guide somehow made us feel like family from the start; walking the Old City and the Bosphorus cruise felt soft on my heart. But the crowds in the Grand Bazaar were a bit too much, still I miss it.

Watching the sunset on the Bosphorus was more emotional than I expected. The Old City walks were busy but beautiful, and in Sultanahmet every corner feels like a story. Our guide was really patient and explained Topkapi Palace and the Basilica Cistern in a simple way. The schedule was full but it didn’t feel rushed. Only one lunch stop was a bit touristy, that’s all.

Qianyu L. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

Our guide was really patient and explained things in a calm way, which I liked. The old city walk was enjoyable; we took lots of photos around Hagia Sophia and Sultanahmet area. The Bosphorus boat in the late afternoon was beautiful, wind was a bit strong but the views made it worth it. Only small issue, at a couple stops we felt a little rushed and time was short.

What surprised me most was how big and alive the city looked once we got on the Bosphorus boat. The old town walk was packed in a good way; around Hagia Sophia, Sultanahmet, and the Grand Bazaar felt exactly like I imagined. The guide explained history without making it boring, more like little stories. Only issue was we felt a bit rushed at a couple stops, and the audio headset cut out sometimes. Overall it was smooth and well arranged.

Gediminas V. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

When the wind hit my face on the Bosphorus cruise, I understood why people talk about Istanbul so much. The moment we got on the Bosphorus boat I felt how Istanbul really lives between two continents. Walking the Old City (Sultanahmet, Grand Bazaar, Spice Bazaar) was a bit tiring but in a good way. Our guide explained the stories in Hagia Sophia and Topkapi without overdoing it, which I liked. Hotel was fine and transfers were on time. We rushed a little at one or two stops, but overall it was a full, warm trip.

The Bosphorus cruise was also super relaxing, seagulls and that wind… Hotel was pretty clean, only breakfast was kinda the same sometimes. Overall we had really nice days.

The moment we got on the boat in the Bosphorus, Istanbul felt like a movie. In the Old City the streets were so alive, we got a bit lost in the Grand Bazaar and honestly I liked it. The guide told stories in a way that didn’t feel like a lecture, and around Hagia Sophia and Sultanahmet we didn’t miss the details. It was a busy schedule but not crazy, and we still had time at night to sit with tea and just watch.

Prabesh K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

The evening ride on the Bosphorus honestly surprised me, the lights and breeze felt so calm. Our guide didn’t rush things and gave us time around Sultanahmet and the Grand Bazaar. I liked the stories at Topkapi, some details I never heard before. Hotel was neat and transfers came on time. Only one lunch stop felt a bit too touristy, but overall it was smooth.

Sitting on the Bosphorus cruise in the evening made Istanbul feel like a movie, lights and wind was perfect. Our guide knew how to tell the history well, and we walked around Topkapi and the Sultanahmet area without getting lost. Grand Bazaar was a bit too crowded, but that’s the city vibe. The hotel transfers came on time, so we didn’t stress.

What stayed with me most was the mood on the Bosphorus cruise; the city felt close and a bit mysterious at the same time. The old town walk was busy but worth it, and seeing Hagia Sophia and the Grand Bazaar in real life hits different. Our guide explained the history in a simple way, not too long. Hotel pickups were on time, only one day the minibus was a little late but it was ok.

Rania K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

My favorite part was how the city noise just disappears once you get on the Bosphorus cruise. The Old City walk was nice, we kind of got lost in the Grand Bazaar but it was fun. The guide shared small stories without talking too much. Hotel was clean and pick-up times were mostly on time. Istanbul is so full, even in 5 days you can’t finish it all.

Mona S. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Watching the sunset on the Bosphorus made Istanbul feel totally different. Our guide was patient and explained the stories around Topkapi and Sultanahmet in a nice way, not boring. I got a little lost in the Grand Bazaar but it was fun too. Hotel pickups and meeting points were easy, so overall it felt really comfortable.

On the Bosphorus cruise, the late afternoon wind hit my face and it felt like the city slowed down for a minute. The Old City walks were busy but really nice; we saw Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and Grand Bazaar without feeling rushed. The guide explained history in a simple way, not boring at all. Hotel was clean and transfers were mostly on time. Only one day had a bit too much walking, I got tired.

I went quiet when we saw the sunset on the Bosphorus, it was really something. The Old City walk was packed too; around Hagia Sophia, Sultanahmet and getting a bit lost in the Grand Bazaar. Our guide explained a lot in a simple way, not boring. Hotel and transfers were smooth, only some stops felt a bit too crowded, but that’s Istanbul. Came back tired but happy.

The evening lights on the Bosphorus really got me, the city looked totally different from the boat. Our guide explained the history without making it boring, and wandering around Sultanahmet was a nice way to see things up close. The schedule was mostly well organized, but one afternoon the waiting times were a bit long and the crowd at Topkapi tired me out. Katalay team was quick with the transfers.

What hit me most was how the city mixes history with normal life everywhere. In the Old City walks the guide explained Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque without rushing, and let us get a bit lost in the Grand Bazaar :) The Bosphorus cruise in the late afternoon was really nice, good breeze and views. Hotel and transfers were smooth, only one day we were late because of traffic, but it wasnt a big stress.

Bartosz K. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

Seeing Istanbul from the water on the Bosphorus cruise honestly got me, especially near sunset. The Old City walks were packed; it’s easy to get lost in Grand Bazaar and Spice Bazaar. The guide explained most things clearly, but sometimes the group moved too fast and I wanted a bit more time for photos. Overall it felt solid and well planned.

Julián P. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

Our guide dodged crowds like magic; we skipped lines in the Old City, laughed at seagulls on the Bosphorus, but the Grand Bazaar stop felt a bit too packed.

Yender P. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

Wandering in a small group felt kinda VIP; our guide joked around and explained history so well I forgot to take pics. We walked Sultanahmet, and in the Grand Bazaar I almost became a “pro” at bargaining. On the Bosphorus cruise we had a bread war with seagulls (I lost). But some stops felt a bit rushed, so not 5 stars. The Katalay team still kept it smooth.

Seeing the sunset on the Bosphorus was the best part of this trip. The Old City walking part was nice too; around Sultanahmet, Grand Bazaar, and the smell of spices everywhere. The guide explained history without making it too heavy, and answered our questions patiently. Hotel was clean and transport was mostly smooth. Only a couple stops were a bit crowded, but thats Istanbul.

Even back home, Istanbul’s colors still linger in my eyes.

The moment we got on the boat on the Bosphorus I was like, ok this is it. The old city part was also full on; Topkapi, around Sultanahmet, and getting lost in the Grand Bazaar was my kind of thing. The guide explained history in a simple way, not boring. Hotel and transfers were smooth, only some stops felt a bit too crowded but thats Istanbul I guess.

Nicolas R. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

Our guide was calm from start to finish, which I liked. The walk around Sultanahmet was well organized and we got enough history at Hagia Sophia and the Basilica Cistern. The Bosphorus cruise at sunset was really nice, but the boat felt a bit crowded and the speaker system was hard to hear sometimes. Hotel location was good, close to the tram. Overall solid, just wished for a little more free time.

Noura S. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Walking around the city, I felt like history was coming from every corner. We did the Old City area around Sultanahmet, Topkapi, and the Grand Bazaar, with small tea breaks in between. The Bosphorus cruise was calmer than I expected, and the evening lights were really pretty. The guide didn’t talk nonstop but explained well when you ask, which I liked. The schedule was full but not tiring.

Our guide kept us together even in the tram crowds, which I really appreciated. In the Old City, the area around Hagia Sophia and the lanes of the Grand Bazaar felt properly alive. The Bosphorus cruise was calmer than I expected, just watching the city slide by from the water was lovely. The schedule was full but didn’t feel rushed, only at a couple stops I wished for a bit more free time.

Our guide made us feel like family from the first minute, like we already knew each other. Walking around Sultanahmet, his stories were so vivid; at Topkapi and Hagia Sophia we didn’t just “see” things, we felt them. On the Bosphorus cruise we drank tea and laughed, city lights spilling on the water. The Katalay team kept everything smooth, I never felt stress.

Our guide somehow turned strangers into a little family from the first minutes, with jokes and real patience. Walking the Old City lanes, the history felt alive, and on the Bosphorus cruise the wind made everything quiet inside me. I left with that sweet, heavy nostalgia. But around the Grand Bazaar it got too crowded at times, a calmer slot would help.

Andreas K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

The moment our guide said “crowd is coming,” we were already inside, so I felt like a ninja. The skip-the-line part was a real lifesaver, and we dodged the human traffic at Topkapi and the Basilica Cistern. Wandering the Old City, the smell of simit followed us like a pet. On the Bosphorus cruise, the seagulls posed better than me. Katalay team kept it smooth; I just drank tea.

Yandir S. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Touching the old city stones made my chest feel tight, like centuries were still breathing. The domes and mosaics inside Hagia Sophia, the delicate details at the Blue Mosque, Topkapi courtyards… all of it stayed with me. The columns in the Basilica Cistern felt like a quiet story. On the Bosphorus cruise, palaces floated by and I got a bit teary. Our guide explained history so well, everything felt perfect.

Walking around the city, it felt like every corner had a call to prayer and the smell of simit, so Istanbul was really alive. The Old City stops were solid; wandering around Sultanahmet area, outside Hagia Sophia and getting lost in the Grand Bazaar stayed with me. The moment that stayed with me was drifting on the Bosphorus near sunset and hearing the seagulls. The Old City walk was busy but nice; we saw around Sultanahmet, Topkapi and the Grand Bazaar. Our guide was very patient and explained stories without overdoing it. The schedule felt organized, only at some stops we waited a bit too long. Overall it was a really comfortable trip.

Golden hour on the Bosphorus hit different, all pink-gold city glow; guide nailed the stories too.

Our guide set the plan clearly right away, which I appreciated. The Old City part with Topkapi Palace and the Basilica Cistern honestly impressed me, and just walking around Sultanahmet was nice. The Bosphorus cruise in the late afternoon was relaxing, great light. Only downside: we rushed a bit at a few stops and lost time in traffic. Overall it felt well organized.

Our group was so small it felt like we rented Istanbul; guide’s jokes, Old City walks, and the Bosphorus cruise were perfect, zero hassle.

What surprised me most was how much we managed to cover in five days. A walk through Sultanahmet, a short but packed stop at the Grand Bazaar, then the Bosphorus cruise that shows the city from a totally different angle… it all flowed. The guide shared history without boring us, and even the small details felt taken care of. It was busy, but never chaotic; everything ran on time.

What stayed with me most was the evening lights on the Bosphorus, just calm and beautiful. Our guide explained the area around Hagia Sophia and Sultanahmet without overdoing it, which I liked. I got a bit lost in the Grand Bazaar, but thats kind of the fun. Hotel was decent and the transfers were on time. The city is busy, but this trip made it easy to see a lot without feeling exhausted.

What stayed with me most was the mix of sea smell and the call to prayer while walking near Galata Bridge. Our guide explained the history of Hagia Sophia and Topkapi in a simple way, not too heavy. The Bosphorus cruise in the late afternoon felt calm, just sipping tea and watching the shoreline. I got a bit lost in the Grand Bazaar but it was part of the fun. Hotel was clean, only the pillows were kinda hard.

The thing I remember most is the moment the boat started on the Bosphorus and the city suddenly looked calmer. The guide explained things very clearly, lots of history but not boring. Walking around Sultanahmet, passing by Hagia Sophia, and getting a bit lost in the Grand Bazaar was my kind of fun. Nothing felt too rushed, and the hotel was fine.

Our guide was easy from the first minute and made everything simple. We walked around Sultanahmet, did Topkapi Palace, and I got a bit lost in the Grand Bazaar (but it was fun). The Bosphorus cruise in the late afternoon was just right, the lights and cool breeze felt so good. The schedule was full but not stressful, and the hotel was clean. There was small waiting at one point but no big deal.

Istanbul in five days felt like fast-forward: Old City, Grand Bazaar, spice smells, and a Bosphorus cruise. The guide dropped history facts while I chased simit like it owed me money. Everything ran super smooth, I was tired but smiling.

The moment we got on the boat on the Bosphorus, I saw a different side of Istanbul. The old city part was full but it didn’t feel rushed. Our guide explained the stories around Hagia Sophia and Sultanahmet in a simple way, so we didn’t get lost. They gave us some free time in the Grand Bazaar and I grabbed some lokum. Hotel was clean, transfers were on time. Overall it was an easy, nice trip.

What really hit me was when our guide slipped us to a quiet terrace away from the crowds; the Golden Horn and old rooftops looked unreal at golden hour. If you like photos, the light and angles were basically set up, no tripod needed. He added a quick bit of history too, so it felt alive, not staged. Everything ran smooth.

Our guide made the old stones feel like a story, and I got quietly moved. Walking under arches in the Old City, seeing worn columns and bits of mosaic, it hit me with this strange nostalgia. The dome at Hagia Sophia and the fine patterns inside the Blue Mosque stayed in my head. On the Bosphorus cruise the palace walls slid by in the water; everything felt perfect.

Bartosz K. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

Stepping down into the Basilica Cistern made me just stop; the columns and reflections felt like an ancient movie set, and the guide explained the stories well, but we waited a bit too long at the entrance.

Benjamín P. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

My wow moment was slipping past the crowds and skipping the ticket line at Topkapi Palace, we were inside almost right away and it felt calm. The guide gave quick bits of history, just enough. However the Grand Bazaar stop felt a little rushed, 10 more minutes would’ve helped.

Nabirye K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

What hit me most was how the city feels like two worlds at once. Our guide explained the history around Hagia Sophia and Sultanahmet in a calm, easy way, and we didn’t feel lost at Topkapi. Grand Bazaar was crowded but still fun. The evening Bosphorus cruise was my best part, a bit windy though, but the views were really beautiful. Hotel was clean and the transport mostly on time.

Watching the sun slide over the Bosphorus gave me this quiet, homesick kind of joy. Being in a small group felt so exclusive, not like a crowd, more like walking with friends. Katalay team was always there, no rushing.

What I loved most was the hotel pick-up working like a clock; I was in the air-conditioned bus before I even finished my coffee. Our guide kept it funny with Old City stories and never let us “accidentally” get lost around Topkapi and Sultanahmet. The Bosphorus cruise was a bonus, even the seagulls joined (one tried to steal my simit!). Katalay team made it all smooth, I just showed up and laughed.

Seeing the city from the Bosphorus boat was a different mood, a bit misty and very calm. Our guide knew the history well, but sometimes he rushed and the headset was hard to hear. Overall it felt well planned, I just wanted a little more free time.

The best surprise was the photo moments we found in the backstreets. Our guide in the Old City kept slipping us into quiet courtyards and tiled corners, with perfect light. In Sultanahmet the domes and slim columns felt like they were telling stories, and in the Basilica Cistern the cool air and echoes went straight to my chest.
