Stepping off the ferry, I was instantly in holiday mode. We packed a lot into little time: Büyükada loop by bike (no car noise), pine air, old wooden mansions, quick stops along the waterfront. Guide was fast but not rushy. Katalay team kept it all smooth. 5/5.

Wai Ling C. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our guide started joking on the ferry and suddenly we weren’t strangers anymore. On the islands, pine smell, quiet streets, and sea breeze… making friends from so many countries felt so nostalgic, I got a little sad leaving.

Nicolás P. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

The moment we got on the ferry, everything slowed down, in a good way. Small group, felt kinda exclusive, not like a crowd. Walked the island, old mansions, sea breeze… guide dropped cool history bits. Katalay team ran it smooth.

Bartosz K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Stepping off the ferry, the island vibe hit me and the city noise just vanished. Our guide took us into quiet backstreets—old wooden mansions, bougainvillea, sea views… total gold for pro-looking pics. The viewpoint up on Büyükada was postcard-level, light was perfect. Katalay team ran it super smooth, zero stress. I walked a lot and still had energy left :)

Rizky P. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

The guide started stories on the ferry; from Byzantines to exiled princes, I kept giggling while sharing simit with seagulls. On Büyükada, old mansions and pine smell, funny bits… everything felt perfect.

Karim S. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our hotel pick-up was right on time and the air-conditioned bus felt like a little luxury all day. Everything ran smoothly; the pier, ferry, even the island walks were well paced. The guide shared nice stories about Büyükada’s old mansions and quiet streets. The Katalay team was around when needed, so nothing felt stressful. It was like breathing again after Istanbul’s noise.

Tangeni K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Laughing with strangers on the ferry, that island air… still warms my heart.

Renato G. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our guide started joking on the ferry and everyone warmed up fast. On Büyükada we biked around like a tiny UN, laughing nonstop. Tea break turned into new friends, and the seagulls also stole my simit… perfect day!

Yassine B. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Seeing the huge line at the pier made me sigh… then we just walked past it. Seats on the ferry were sorted, and on the island we stayed away from the crowds. Guide dropped quick bits of history, and wandering Büyükada streets felt super chill. Katalay team knows what they’re doing, day flew by.

Ricardo P. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

Small group felt VIP, but waiting was too long.

Lorenzo P. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

In a small group, the island felt exclusive.

Mubarak A. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

The moment we boarded the ferry, I felt calm; we skipped the lines and escaped the crowds, and the island pine smell felt like my childhood, guide so kind.

Yacine B. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

On the ferry I felt the vibe right away. We biked around the island, pine smell, sea views… so good. Half the group was from different countries and everyone was chatty; made new friends easy. Guide dropped little history bits, not boring. Katalay team kept it smooth. Ended the day like, can we stay longer pls.

Kofi A. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

At golden hour on the ferry, Istanbul turned honey and rose; the guide’s stories softened me, I still feel there.

Ezequiel P. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

The moment I stepped on the ferry, the city noise kind of melted away. We were a small group, so it felt almost private, like the day belonged to us. Our guide shared little stories about the old mansions on Büyükada and those pine-scented lanes, and nobody was rushing. Sitting by the water with tea, I got this sweet, nostalgic feeling I didn’t expect. The Katalay team made it all smooth.

Shanice B. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

What hit me most was how the city changed colors on the ride back at golden hour, the Bosphorus turning pink and copper. On the island we wandered quiet lanes and old wooden mansions, and the guide sprinkled in little history. However we waited a bit too long at the ferry pier, so not a 5.

Kofi N. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

The wow moment was skipping the long dock lines and just getting on the ferry; our guide handled it quietly. On the island the streets felt calm, piney air, and I could breathe after busy Istanbul. While other groups were still stuck sorting tickets, we were already walking around, and that made the whole day feel easy.

Riccardo P. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

The moment we got off the ferry I thought, ok this is a different planet. In one short day we covered a lot: Büyükada streets, pine smell, old mansions, sea views… The guide was a joke machine, and I tried to bargain simit with seagulls (I lost). Everything ran perfectly.

Björk S. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

The vibe on the ferry hit right away, chatting with people from all over. On the island we biked around, pine smell, old wooden mansions, super chill. Guide dropped a bit of history without boring us. But the ferry line was kinda long, so not a 5.

Bojan K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

The guide started talking before we even left the ferry, and I still don’t get how we fit so much into one day. In a few hours: boat ride, island walk, old wooden mansions, pine smell, tea by the waterfront… my brain was still switching to “vacation mode” and we were already halfway done. I planned to rent a bike on Büyükada, then saw the hill and changed my personality. Everything ran smooth, Katalay team was on time and funny. 5/5.

Yaroslav K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

The islands’ quiet villas and old monastery ruins made my chest ache; with the guide’s stories, time paused.

Bojan P. 3.0 / 5 Average

The sea air and chatting with new friends on the islands felt like an old summer memory. But the ferry wait was long and some stops felt rushed, so it got a bit tiring.

Neema K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

What hit me was how the guide greeted us one by one on the ferry and somehow remembered everyone’s name. From there it felt like family. On the island, walking under the pine trees, they told little stories about the old wooden houses and I just went wow, quietly. Katalay team was easygoing too, nothing felt forced.

Tiago L. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Turning a corner on the bike and boom—wooden mansions + sea views, pure photo gold. Guide took us to tiny backstreets, away from the crowds. Everything flowed easy, perfect stops and light.

Bartosz K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

What stayed with me was how private the day felt once we got on the island. In a small group the guide could read everyone’s pace; we stopped under the pine trees and just watched the sea, only seagulls. Walking past the old wooden mansions on Büyükada was a real wow moment. The Katalay team handled everything quietly, so we just enjoyed it.

Minh Q. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our guide started joking on the ferry; our small group felt like a secret club. On Büyükada we rented bikes, cats followed us, and the old mansion stories were spot on. Everything ran smooth, no stress at all.

Yael S. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

What stayed with me most was slipping past the crowds and lines and reaching the island almost quietly. Our guide kept everything flowing, no stress with tickets at all. On Büyükada the pine smell, old wooden mansions, and the sea… it honestly made my heart soft. Lunch was simple but really tasty. On the ferry back, just staring at Istanbul, I felt like I was remembering a summer from childhood. A perfect day.

Brianna K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our guide held us like family, my heart still warm.

Taavi K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our guide started joking on the ferry; on the islands we felt like a tiny family. In Büyükada we bargained with cats, and the history stories were just right.

Kagiso M. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Guide made us feel family.

Andrés Q. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

Our guide had us moving right after the ferry, and we still fit in pine-scented streets, old mansions, and seaside views on Büyükada. My wow moment was that Marmara panorama from up high, but we waited a bit too long at the pier on the way back.

Hayley P. 3.0 / 5 Average

Our guide treated us like old mates on the ferry, and it honestly warmed me up. On the islands the pine smell, quiet lanes and those old wooden houses felt so gentle, like slipping back into another time. But we waited around a lot and then got rushed at a couple stops, which took the shine off. Still, the group vibe was like family, and I left with this weird little ache of nostalgia.

Wei Ling T. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

The ferry breeze hit my face near sunset and everything just slowed down. We wandered the island streets, old wooden houses and pine smell… so shiok. Best part was golden hour: Istanbul skyline turned pink-orange, glittering on the water. Guide kept it chill but still shared bits of history, pace felt easy. Katalay team handled stuff smoothly. Honestly, I didn’t want that light to end.

Berk A. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

We stopped at a tiny lookout on Heybeliada where the pines frame the sea; my shots looked magazine-level, but the ferry line was a bit long.

Hassan R. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

As soon as we got on the ferry, the city noise felt far away, and honestly it was a relief. Walking around the islands, seeing the old wooden houses and getting that sea air was really nice. The guide shared some history stories, but sometimes I couldn’t hear him well in the crowd. Lunch was ok, just felt a bit rushed. Still, overall it was a calm day out.

Bastien L. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

The breeze at the pier felt like childhood; we covered so much so fast, my heart stayed full.

Noah B. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

That air-conditioned bus, that hotel pickup—perfect.

Yandel P. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Those old mansions and crumbling walls on the island hit me hard; the wooden balcony details were so pretty. Guide dropped history stories nonstop, time flew. Everything just clicked.

Renzo V. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

What surprised me most was catching little corners hidden between pine trees, away from the big crowds. The guide pointed out the best light spots in front of the old wooden mansions and along quiet seaside lanes, so my photos looked almost editorial. But we waited a bit too long at the ferry pier, and it slowed the rhythm.

Taras K. 3.0 / 5 Average

The funniest part was skipping the ferry line and suddenly feeling like a VIP seagull. The island streets and pine smell were lovely, and the guide gave bite-size history. But the schedule felt rushed; I wanted more time on Buyukada, and on the way back the bus/ferry timing got messy so we stood around 30 minutes. Still, dodging the crowds was nice enough.

Tsvetan K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

The moment we reached the pier, I could tell the day would run smooth. Ferry ride, island walk, and spotting the old wooden mansions along the coast packed a lot into a short time. Our guide shared history in just the right dose, never felt rushed. Still had time for photos and coffee.

Mikkel N. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

We covered so much fast, my heart still on the islands, but a bit crowded.

Mirko B. 3.0 / 5 Average

Atmosphere was fun, made friends; but waiting was too long.

Guide got us in fast, no lines; skipped the crowds, whole day felt easy.

Theodoros K. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

We walked around Büyükada and I rented a bike under the pine trees; there are some hills but the views are worth it. The guide shared bits of history without talking too much. Lunch was ok but a bit crowded, and we waited at the pier on the way back. Still, a nice day overall.

Yu-Ting L. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Stepping off the ferry, everything suddenly felt slower, and I liked that. Walking around the island was easy, with those old wooden houses and the sea breeze. Our guide shared a bit of history about Büyükada and pointed out some nice spots for photos. Lunch was simple but fresh. On the way back, feeding the seagulls on the boat made me weirdly happy.

Fabian B. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

What stuck with me most was how calm the islands looked as we came in by ferry. The guide was clear and organized, and timing was mostly fine. On Büyükada there are no horse carriages anymore, so it was bikes and walking, which I liked. We wandered through the pine streets and the sea views were really nice. Only the lunch felt a bit rushed and crowded, but overall a relaxing day.

Nicolas F. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our guide’s stories about exile and princes behind the old wooden mansions on Büyükada gave me goosebumps; everything felt perfect, and I honestly felt like time-traveling all day.

Saba D. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Guide’s history stories totally captivated me.

Prakash R. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

The moment we got on the ferry, the city noise just dropped away. Small group, so it felt kinda private the whole time. Katalay team kept it smooth. Came back tired but happy, like proper island day.

Our guide started stories on the ferry before we even sat down, and suddenly we were far from the city on the island. In one short day we covered so much: a walk by the waterfront, old wooden mansions, pine smell, and quiet streets. Every stop felt just right, not rushed but never wasting time. Coming back at sunset I felt this sweet nostalgia, like I left a little piece there.

Renato G. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Guide took us down quiet lanes; old wooden houses, pine shade, sea views—my shots came out magazine-level. Everything felt perfect.

Tjaša K. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

Our guide explained everything so calmly on the ferry that I felt relaxed even before we arrived. On Büyükada I rented a bike, rode under the pine trees, and had lunch at a small place with a sea view. Timing was mostly fine, but the return ferry got a bit crowded and finding a seat was not easy.

Nice day to escape the Istanbul noise.

Katalay team was clear at the meeting point, so no stress.

Tsvetan K. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

Everything ran so smooth I almost asked, “is this Turkey or Switzerland?” The ferry ride was fun, island walk had a nice vibe, and the history bits were just enough.

Yael K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our guide started spilling island history on the ferry and I almost dropped my tea laughing. On Büyükada, walking past the old wooden mansions, he glued a story to every corner, like we were binge-watching a show. What hit me most was the quiet when the ferry got close to the island, like Istanbul noise just stayed behind. On Büyükada there are no horse carriages anymore, which I think is good; we walked a lot and used some electric rides. The guide made the old wooden mansions and the way up to Aya Yorgi more interesting than I expected. Lunch was simple but fresh fish. Long day, but easy going.

As soon as we reached the islands, the mood changed and it felt calmer. The ferry ride was nice, and we walked along the seaside and looked at the old wooden houses. The guide shared bits of history, enough for me. Lunch was ok but a little tourist-menu style. On the way back we rushed at the pier, I wish we had 20 more mins.

While I was negotiating with seagulls at the pier (I lost), I got into island mood fast. Our guide took us down quiet backstreets: old wooden mansions, purple bougainvillea, and a tiny hill with sea views—perfect for golden-hour pro photos. I felt like a “pro” until the wind turned my hair into seaweed. But the ferry line was a bit long, so not 5 stars. Katalay team was easygoing.

Lunch was ok too, only the ferry back was a bit crowded.

As soon as we got on the ferry, Istanbul noise faded like someone turned the volume down. Our guide pointed out wooden details on the old mansions and those cracked marble steps, and I tried to look “historic” in photos but mostly looked sweaty. Near the monastery ruins I honestly felt like I’d walked onto a movie set. The Katalay team handled everything smooth, zero stress.

Stepping off the ferry, the island light hit my chest; back lanes, flowered wooden houses, and quiet hills were gold for pro-level photos. Our guide shared little history crumbs and time felt slow. Even now, I can smell the sea.

Because we were a small group, it felt kind of exclusive; our guide shared stories about the old wooden mansions, pine-scented lanes, and a quiet church viewpoint on Büyükada without rushing. The bike stop and seaside lunch were spot on. The Katalay team kept everything smooth, nobody got lost. I honestly didn’t want to go back.

Stepping off the ferry, it felt like Istanbul suddenly went quiet. We walked around Büyükada past the old wooden mansions, had tea by the water, and the sea air was honestly perfect. The guide shared bits of history without talking too much. Only thing, the return ferry was pretty crowded and the schedule felt a little rushed at the end.

Best part was not having to think. Hotel pick-up was on time, the A/C bus was clean, and everything just flowed. Guide dropped little history bits, not boring. Ferry to the island felt easy too. Walking around Büyükada with that sea breeze… proper chill day. Zero stress.

As we got close to the pier, those old wooden mansions made me go quiet. The guide pointed out the veranda details and the marks of time; some felt like a tiny open-air museum. We even passed a crumbled wall and stones, and he said “this is the island’s forgotten history.” Everything was perfect.
