Tsvetan K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our guide made me laugh in the first minute, and then my camera basically never stopped. We ducked into little lanes and courtyards around Sultanahmet and found postcard angles with zero crowd drama. Katalay team had everything timed perfectly. History was told short and clear; I kept photographing the wrong door like a genius.

Tuomas K. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

When the guide explained in Sultanahmet Square how old emperors walked the same stones, it suddenly felt real. The stories were really good, but the crowds around Hagia Sophia made it hard to hear the group sometimes.

Bram S. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our guide made the whole morning feel easy and organized right away. In such a short time we covered so much around Sultanahmet: the outside of Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque courtyard, the Hippodrome, and near Basilica Cistern. The history came fast but still calm, never felt rushed. When it ended I was full in my head and also in my heart; Istanbul stayed with me like a memory.

Brianna K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our guide had us bonding while we walked, laughing with new friends from all over. Sultanahmet’s vibe plus stories at Hagia Sophia and the Hippodrome made everything feel just perfect.

Esteban Q. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our guide pulled us away from the crowds right away, and our tiny group stood in a quiet corner by Hagia Sophia; it felt like Istanbul was just for us. The history bits were short but spot on, and nothing felt rushed. Everything ran smooth, and the Katalay team was really attentive.

Fahad A. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

We slipped ahead of the crowds before our guide even said “let’s go,” and I felt like a VIP (don’t tell my mom). No lines around Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque area, just me and my morning coffee bravery. The history bits were short, clear, and funny, and nobody got lost in the chaos.

Seojun K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our guide got things moving right away; we covered Topkapi area, Sultanahmet square, and the Hippodrome in no time. History bits were clear, pace was just right. Katalay team was smooth too, I barely felt tired.

Wei Ming L. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

The stonework hit me straight away, like the Old City was peeling back its layers. Our guide explained the dome details inside Hagia Sophia and the tile patterns at the Blue Mosque without rushing. At the Hippodrome, the worn columns and obelisks made it easy to picture the ancient crowds. In Topkapi’s courtyards, the arches and shadows looked unreal in photos. The Katalay team kept everything smooth, no stress at all.

Yun-Wei L. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our guide made everything easy from hotel pick-up; the air-conditioned bus was spotless, and we glided between Sultanahmet stops. The history bits were calm and clear, no stress at all.

Yuxin L. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our guide clicked right away, stories just kept coming. Walking around Sultanahmet felt like every corner had a different century. We didn’t just “see” Hagia Sophia and the Hippodrome, we heard the drama behind them. Katalay team was super easy too. 5/5.

Wei Ming L. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our guide made strangers feel like friends in minutes; walking Sultanahmet felt like a memory. We laughed outside Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque, shared tea, and I left with my heart still there.

Taras K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our guide hooked me in the first minute, stories were so alive. Walking around Sultanahmet felt like every corner had a past. The old races at the Hippodrome, how Hagia Sophia changed over time… explained in a simple way, it just clicked. Pace was perfect, not boring for a sec. Katalay team was smooth too, easy meetup.

Rizky A. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our guide’s story about imperial intrigue while we stared up at Hagia Sophia’s dome honestly hit me; short tour, but the history felt alive.

Renato P. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

The group was so fun, I made 5 new friends walking Sultanahmet, but the crowds were a bit much.

Hira S. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our guide pulled us away from the crowds right away; in a small group, Sultanahmet stories felt like whispers. Passing Hagia Sophia outside and the Hippodrome, my heart went soft, like an old memory coming back.

Prakriti S. 3.0 / 5 Average

Those golden-hour colors on the stone streets really softened me; walking around Sultanahmet felt like an old memory. The guide’s stories were lovely, but we waited too long at stops and rushed a few places, so it lost some charm.

Hampus L. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Before our guide even said “good morning,” our tiny group was whisked through the old city like VIPs. I didn’t get lost in Sultanahmet, I was “researching history.” Hagia Sophia and Hippodrome stories were so fun, I laughed myself tired.

Yair G. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our guide told stories like even the stones were gossiping; columns, domes, and old walls felt like a cartoon come alive. I almost wandered off in the Hippodrome ruins, and the Katalay team joked me back on track. Perfect.

Gonzalo F. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our guide paused under the dome of Hagia Sophia and explained how the same stones carried “scars” from Byzantines to Ottomans, and I got goosebumps. Walking around Sultanahmet, the stories felt so alive I forgot about the crowds. Everything was perfect, the pace was just right.

Chinelo A. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

As the sun climbed, the Old City just glowed, golden light washing domes and stone lanes in honey colors. Our guide told stories calmly and kept the pace easy around Sultanahmet Square. Walking into the shadows then catching a sea view, Istanbul’s colours stayed in my head.

Jeroen V. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Suddenly I was in Sultanahmet; Hagia Sophia, Hippodrome, Grand Bazaar—guide joked, even my watch ran faster.

Esteban Q. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

Our guide threaded us through the old city before it got packed; the skip-the-line access actually mattered and we saw the Hagia Sophia area and Sultanahmet Square in peace. But the Grand Bazaar stop felt a bit rushed.

Berk A. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Golden-hour colors made the city glow; guide flawless.

Yanelis P. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our guide made us feel like old friends from the first minute. Walking through Sultanahmet, the stories just flowed; the shadow of Hagia Sophia, the courtyard of the Blue Mosque, the gates of Topkapi… it all stayed in my chest. The Katalay team felt warm and calm too. Leaving, I got a little heart ache.

Miroslav K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Once our guide started talking, the centuries of Istanbul felt like a film in my head. Walking through Sultanahmet, every corner whispered old stories; the tales of Hagia Sophia and the Basilica Cistern stayed with me. Everything was perfect.

Minh Q. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our guide really knew the flow, we kinda slipped past the crowds. No line stress, just chill time around Hagia Sophia area and Sultanahmet. History bits were short and clear. Katalay team made it all smooth.

Florian K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Before I even finished my coffee, I was dropped into a thousand years of history. Our guide sprinted us (with jokes) through Sultanahmet Square, the Hippodrome, Hagia Sophia from outside, the Blue Mosque courtyard, then a quick dive into the Grand Bazaar. For a half day, it felt like cheating—in a good way. Katalay team nailed the timing; I just followed the trail of simit crumbs.

Tate N. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

The guide cracked jokes right on the bus and I relaxed fast. Hotel pick-up was spot on, super smooth. The air-conditioned bus saved us in the crowds. We rolled through Sultanahmet, saw Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque, history bits were short and clear. Zero stress.

Jiyoon K. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

Before I even finished breakfast, they picked me up, super easy. The AC bus was clean and comfy, and the timing felt smooth even with traffic. Guide shared bits of history, nice walk around Sultanahmet area. Seeing Hagia Sophia and the Hippodrome from outside was still cool. But a couple stops felt a bit rushed, so 4 stars.

Yael N. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

Our guide made us feel like family in minutes; stories flowed through Sultanahmet, but the crowd around Hagia Sophia was a bit too much.

Callum P. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Guide showed secret photo corners; I chased pigeons and looked about 900 years old.

Neema K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our guide made us feel like family from the first minute, and in the small group everything felt kind of private. Walking through Sultanahmet, seeing Hagia Sophia from outside, and the smell of the Grand Bazaar took me back somehow. When it ended, my heart stayed there.

Bastien L. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

Our guide’s jokes glued us together; I made friends from everywhere in Sultanahmet, but the crowds got a bit much.

Martín G. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Walking through Sultanahmet as the sun came up just hit me; pink-gold light spilling on the stones made the whole city look painted. Our guide didn’t overtalk, just the right bits of history, and everything felt perfect.

Tihomir K. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

That golden-hour light made the Old City look like someone turned the saturation up to “turkish delight.” Our guide dropped history bits while I kept whispering “are these colors even real?”; even the pigeons in Sultanahmet were posing. But we rushed a couple stops and the crowds stole a few photo chances from me.

Bojan K. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

When our guide pointed out the worn stone carving on a Byzantine column, the layers of the old city suddenly made sense. The arches in the courtyards and bits of broken marble were more striking than I expected, but the crowds around Sultanahmet made it hard to pause and really look at details sometimes.

Renato V. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our guide stopped at the first corner and somehow made the stones “talk,” and I fell straight into old Istanbul. The broken columns at the Hippodrome and the massive arches of Hagia Sophia gave me this strange, sweet nostalgia. Blue Mosque tiles glowed in the morning light, and Topkapi courtyards felt like a quiet movie scene. Everything flowed, no rushing, just history and details. I keep thinking about it.

Rami S. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

From the first minutes our guide made us feel like family, not strangers. Walking around Sultanahmet, every stone had a story; we saw the outside of Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and the Hippodrome with a calm pace. Nobody was rushed, and he really listened to our questions. The Katalay team had everything smooth. When it ended I felt this weird nostalgia, like saying bye to an old friend.

Fabian G. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our guide turned the old city into a living story within minutes. Walking through Sultanahmet, the layers of Hagia Sophia, the symbols in the Hippodrome, and the palace intrigues around Topkapi suddenly made sense, and I kept looking up at the stones like they could talk. The pace felt just right, never rushed. Katalay team handled the meeting spot smoothly too. I left feeling like I’d had a mini history class, in the best way.

Toomas K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our guide had us laughing in the first minute, like history class meets stand-up. Walking around Sultanahmet, he packed every corner with stories—emperors, gossip, and even why a random stone matters. The details around Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque actually stuck in my head (rare for me). Katalay team kept it all smooth, so I just listened and grinned the whole time.

Jeroen V. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our guide’s stories were so funny I almost laughed out loud trying to look serious in Topkapi Palace; at Hagia Sophia and Sultanahmet the history felt like gossip, and everything ran perfectly.

Fahad A. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Walking in Sultanahmet, our guide’s Byzantine stories suddenly made the city feel alive, gave me chills.

Hayley P. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

Walking around Sultanahmet, strangers turned into mates; the guide’s stories warmed me up, Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque still linger, but a couple stops felt a bit rushed.

Matteo B. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

The guide’s stories made the old city feel alive; Sultanahmet Square and the Hippodrome felt like layers of history. But around Hagia Sophia it was a bit too crowded, so stopping to listen got tricky sometimes.

Nils K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our guide made us feel like family fast; stories flowed at Hagia Sophia and Sultanahmet, perfect.

Farhan S. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Everything felt smooth from the start; they picked me up right on time and the air-conditioned bus made getting into the Old City so easy. The guide shared bits of history, and my one wow moment was stepping into Sultanahmet Square and just taking it all in. Katalay team handled things quietly, no stress at all.

Renzo P. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

Right from the first minutes, the small group made it feel like we were slipping into the old city for real. Our guide connected the stories around Sultanahmet Square and the Hippodrome in a way that felt intimate and kinda exclusive. However, near the Grand Bazaar it got a bit too crowded and we rushed a little. Still, I left the morning happy.

Farhan S. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our guide basically kidnapped me from the crowds and my camera finally got to breathe. We ducked into back lanes with colorful doors, tiny courtyards, and a sneaky view toward Galata Bridge where the light was perfect. In Sultanahmet Square the history bits were funny, and I kept posing like a fool. Katalay team kept it smooth. 5/5, my memory card is full.

Tuomas K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Hotel pickup, AC bus; perfect.

Florian K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

We kind of slipped through the crowds, and skipping the lines felt like a small miracle. Our guide was calm and full of stories, and walking around Sultanahmet I swear I could feel the old stones breathing. Topkapi’s courtyards and the shadows near Hagia Sophia stayed with me like a memory from long ago. The Katalay team had everything timed perfectly, so we just enjoyed it. 5/5.

Tihomir P. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Small group, felt kinda VIP.

Giorgos K. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

Our guide was calm and knowledgeable from the first minute, which made everything easy. We walked around Sultanahmet, saw the outside of Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque, and stopped briefly at the Hippodrome. The history bits were explained well, but in a couple spots the group moved a little fast, I wanted 1-2 more minutes for photos. Still, a good way to use the morning.

Tanmoy S. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

They picked me up right on time, and honestly the air-conditioned bus felt like a blessing. Everything ran smooth, no stress at all. My one wow moment was stepping into Sultanahmet Square and getting hit by the minarets and that sea air together, gave me chills.

Wei Ming L. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Best part? Hotel pick-up was smooth, zero stress. The air-con bus came on time and the jumps between Old City stops felt super seamless. Guide was chill too, shared history without talking our ear off. Walk pace around Sultanahmet was just nice. Everything just worked, honestly.

Raghav P. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our guide felt like he had a remote control for time; in a few hours we covered Sultanahmet, Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, the Hippodrome, and even the outer courtyards of Topkapi. I was still taking photos and boom, we were already at the next spot. The history bits were short, funny, and easy to remember (I actually repeated them at lunch like a nerd). Even the coffee stop came with a mini-lesson. Katalay team ran it super smooth. Feet tired, brain happy.

Jordi P. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our guide pulled us out of the crowd from the first steps, and with the small group Sultanahmet felt like it belonged to us. Renzo V. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Within the first minutes, our group felt like a little family. Everything flowed easy, nobody rushed us, and the vibe was just perfect.

Mubarak A. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Andrés Q. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our guide’s stories were so good I felt like an extra in a history show while walking Sultanahmet; from the Hippodrome to Topkapi I laughed nonstop. Everything was perfect.

Kagiso M. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

Our guide slipped us through the crowds and it suddenly felt exclusive; standing in Sultanahmet Square hearing the Hagia Sophia story with just a few people was my wow moment. But the Grand Bazaar stop felt a bit rushed, I wanted 10 more minutes.

Benedict L. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Slipping through the stone streets before the crowds woke up felt strangely like childhood. Skipping the lines made everything flow, we got in near Hagia Sophia and around Sultanahmet without that long waiting. The guide’s stories stayed with me, and I left a bit teary.

Kofi A. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

Our guide made the stones feel like they still had stories in them. The cracked walls, bits of mosaics, and the huge dome of Hagia Sophia gave me this deep, nostalgic feeling, like touching another century. Walking through Sultanahmet, even the sounds felt soft and old. But a couple stops were too crowded to really stare at the details. Still, it stayed with me.

Ryohei S. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

Laughing together in the busy lanes was the wow moment, but Sultanahmet felt a bit crowded.

Mariam A. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our guide’s stories made me feel lost in old Istanbul; walking around Sultanahmet, every stone carried a memory and it honestly warmed my heart.

Esteban Q. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

After a few crowded tours, this small group felt almost private. We walked Sultanahmet at an easy pace, taking in the Hippodrome, the exterior of Hagia Sophia, and the Blue Mosque area without being rushed. The guide kept the history vivid and answered our questions with patience. However, one stop got a bit too crowded and we waited a little, so not 5 stars. Still, super enjoyable.

Raghav S. 3.0 / 5 Average

The old streets came alive with the guide’s stories, and I felt weirdly nostalgic. Hotel pick-up was smooth and the air-conditioned bus was a blessing after the crowds. But we waited around too long and then rushed a couple stops; I wanted more time to just soak in Sultanahmet. Still, seeing Hagia Sophia area and the Hippodrome was lovely.

Ramon C. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

Our guide made us feel comfortable right away, so I didn’t stress even with the crowds. We walked around Sultanahmet, saw Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque from outside, and passed the Hippodrome and the German Fountain. The history bits were simple and easy to follow. Only thing, the pace was a little fast and I kept falling behind for photos.

Eirik S. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our guide was sharp from the first minute and kept a good pace. We walked around Sultanahmet, stopped by Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque area to hear the stories, then on to the Hippodrome and Basilica Cistern. For a half-day it didn’t feel rushed. Only thing is the crowds made a couple spots a bit hard to move through, but that’s just Istanbul.

Ezequiel R. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our guide made us feel relaxed from the first minute, and then we just flowed through the Old City streets. We walked around the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and the area near the Basilica Cistern, with lots of small details I would’ve missed. The quick stop by the Grand Bazaar was also fun, the smells and noise are intense. Pace was good, not boring. Only thing is some spots were super crowded, but that’s Istanbul.

Walking those narrow streets made the old part of Istanbul feel very alive and real. Our guide explained things in a calm way, not rushing, and it helped me understand the stories around Sultanahmet. We saw the Hippodrome area, the outside of Hagia Sophia and the mosque with the blue tiles, then had a short stop near the Grand Bazaar. It was busy but somehow peaceful. The group was small so questions were easy.

Walking around the Hippodrome and Sultanahmet area, he dropped stories about emperor egos and weird palace drama, and I almost spit out my coffee. Everything ran smooth and on time; the Katalay team clearly knows what they’re doing.

What I liked most was it didn’t feel rushed. We walked around Sultanahmet, saw the Hippodrome and the German Fountain, and looked at Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque from outside. The guide explained history in a nice way without dumping too much info. It was a short tour but I really felt the old city vibe. Small tip: wear comfy shoes, the stones are slippery.

Our guide pulled us into tiny backstreets right away and my heart just melted. We saw the big sights around Sultanahmet, but I’ll remember the small courtyards, old doorways, and that morning light on the stone walls. He let us pause for photos and pointed out angles like a pro, it felt like a magazine shoot. The history bits were calm and warm too. When it ended, I felt nostalgic for a city I just met.

Andreas K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

The morning air in the old streets got me right away, before the crowds it felt calm. Our guide explained Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque without rushing, and the stories were simple but interesting. We had a short stop around the Hippodrome area, enough for photos. After the walk I asked where to grab simit and tea, and he gave good tips.

Our guide kept things organised from the first minute, which I liked. We walked around Sultanahmet, saw the Hippodrome and the outside of Hagia Sophia, and had a short stop at the Spice Bazaar. The explanations were clear, but in a couple spots the group moved a bit fast and I wanted 1-2 more minutes for photos. Still, a good way to use the morning.

We walked around Sultanahmet, saw the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia from outside, then went down into the Basilica Cistern. He explained the history in a simple way, not too much. We walked through Sultanahmet, saw the Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque from outside, stopped at the Hippodrome, and heard stories around the Topkapi area. The pace was spot on, not rushed but not dragging either. It was a bit crowded, but that’s just this part of town. Finished with a nice tip for where to grab coffee after.

What I loved most was not having to think about anything. Pick-up was right on time, the air‑con bus was super clean, and even traffic didn’t feel stressful. Guide kept it short and clear, no boring bits. Walking around Sultanahmet was easy; we caught the vibe of Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque from outside. Everything just flowed, zero drama.

Our guide made us feel relaxed from the first minute and we walked the Old City streets before the crowds got too crazy. We passed by Hagia Sophia from outside, the courtyard of Sultanahmet, and saw the Hippodrome, with stories that were simple but interesting. There was a short stop near the Grand Bazaar area and I grabbed a simit. It wasn’t super long, but it really gave the feel of Istanbul.

Our guide kept things organized from the first minute, which I liked. Walking around Sultanahmet was really enjoyable, and the explanations about the Hippodrome and Basilica Cistern were clear and interesting. The area around the Blue Mosque was also beautiful. Only small issue: near Hagia Sophia it felt a bit rushed because of the crowds. Still, a nice, practical half-day.

Our guide set the vibe from minute one, no stress. Tiny group, felt kinda exclusive, like a private walk. We strolled around Sultanahmet, saw the Hippodrome, and heard the story outside Hagia Sophia. Super smooth pace, enough time for pics too. Katalay team was on point.

Within a few minutes the Old City energy just pulled me in. We walked around Sultanahmet, saw the outside of Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque, and passed by the Hippodrome too. The guide told stories in a nice way, not like a class, more like chatting. We had a quick stop near the Grand Bazaar area, and even with the crowds it flowed well. It felt a bit rushed, but for a half-day it’s fair.

Taras K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Walking around Sultanahmet felt like every corner had a different story. The guide kept it flowing and even made a couple small jokes. We stopped by the Hippodrome area and around Hagia Sophia, then had a short break on the way toward the Grand Bazaar. The pace was just right for a half day, not tiring but not rushed either. Only thing, some spots were really crowded, but I guess thats normal.

In Sultanahmet we passed by Hagia Sophia from outside, the Blue Mosque area and the Hippodrome, and we also did a quick walk toward the Grand Bazaar side. He explained the history without overdoing it, which I liked. It was busy, but the pace was ok and we stopped for photos. For a half-day, it felt nicely packed.

Our guide made us feel relaxed right away, and walking around Sultanahmet didn’t feel rushed. We passed by Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque from outside, saw the Hippodrome, and had a quick stop at the Spice Bazaar. The history bits were solid, but what I liked most was he knew where to pause for photos. Small group helped, easy to ask questions. Left a bit tired but in a good way.

Walking through the old city before it got too crowded felt really nice. Our guide kept things well organized and gave enough history around Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque without talking forever. We also stopped by the Hippodrome and went into the Basilica Cistern, which was cool and quiet. The pace was relaxed but we still saw a lot, and there was time for photos. Only small thing: in a couple spots it was hard to hear the guide.

Our guide made me feel, from the first steps, even the stones had stories. The worn lines of the Hippodrome and the quiet balance of domes around Sultanahmet filled me with a strange nostalgia.
