Renzo V. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Our guide got me hooked in like 2 minutes, stories were crazy good. Walking around Sultanahmet felt like every stone had drama. Topkapi and the underground cistern part hit hard. On the Bosphorus cruise I just chilled, city looks totally different. Everything ran smooth, zero stress.
Mariam A. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Our guide slipped us away from the crowds into little back streets; the colorful doors and quiet courtyards were gold for photos. Even near Hagia Sophia and Sultanahmet, we found calm corners. On the Bosphorus at sunset, my shots still make my heart ache. The Katalay team were so kind, everything felt just right.
Callum P. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Guide found backstreet photo spots; Bosphorus light was bang on.
Bastien K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
What stayed with me most was chatting with strangers on the Bosphorus. The guide’s history stories sank in while wandering Sultanahmet and around Topkapi. By the end, leaving with new friends felt kinda hard.
Neville C. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Our guide was so sweet, made us feel like family; tea on the Bosphorus, Old City history, all spot on.
Radek P. 4.0 / 5 Very Good
What stayed with me was stepping out of a quiet alley and suddenly seeing the Golden Horn glow. Our guide led us to hidden courtyards and little passages where my photos looked almost magazine-level. The Bosphorus at sunset felt pure nostalgia, but the Grand Bazaar was so crowded we rushed a bit.
Salim A. 4.0 / 5 Very Good
Before we even got off the bus, I loved how small the group was; it felt kinda exclusive, not like being herded. Our guide told history in a fun way, and at Topkapi the stories had me laughing like it was gossip. On the Bosphorus cruise, the seagulls tried to bargain for simit and I lost. But we waited a bit too long at a couple stops, so not 5.
Miroslav K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Our guide brought the past alive through stone arches and worn columns, and I felt like I could read the city by touch. The Hippodrome fragments and Hagia Sophia’s huge dome were stunning. On the Bosphorus, I caught the fine details on palace facades. Katalay team made it all smooth.
Ezequiel P. 4.0 / 5 Very Good
Our guide kind of threaded us through the chaos; skipping the ticket lines felt like breathing again near Hagia Sophia. Walking the Old City lanes, I got this nostalgic lump in my throat, and the Bosphorus breeze was pure comfort. But the Grand Bazaar stop was a bit too crowded, wish we had a quieter time slot.
Todor N. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
With our tiny group, history warmed me.
Nabirye K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Still shocked how much we squeezed into one day. Guide was fast but never pushy; Topkapi, Sultanahmet area, then the Bosphorus cruise… all smooth. Katalay team handled stuff clean, no stress.
Harriet P. 4.0 / 5 Very Good
Our guide made the city feel like a memory from the first minute. Walking with a small group felt really exclusive; the sound of the stones in Sultanahmet and the stories at Topkapi still stick with me. Then on the Bosphorus, with the wind, Istanbul slid by like a film scene. It was all so personal, but the Grand Bazaar crowds were a bit much. Still, I left with a quiet, sweet nostalgia.
Jordi P. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Our guide was a joke machine; we squeezed Topkapi, Sultanahmet, and a Bosphorus cruise in before I even finished my simit. Saw a ton, brain full, left smiling.
Bader A. 3.0 / 5 Average
Our guide was like an older brother, kept the group feeling like family. Stories around Sultanahmet were nice, and the Bosphorus boat was chill. But timing was messy; lots of waiting and we rushed the Grand Bazaar. Still ok.
Mikkel F. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
What really stuck with me was gliding on the Bosphorus in a small boat while the guide told the stories of the waterfront mansions like it was just for us. The group was so small it never felt awkward to ask questions. The walk around Sultanahmet was calm too, no rushing. Everything ran smooth.
Neville C. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
What caught me off guard was the guide slipping us to a quiet little terrace spot away from the crowds; the minarets in golden-hour light looked like a postcard. Then on the Bosphorus boat, with seagulls and the waterfront mansions, my photos came out properly pro. Everything ran smooth, zero stress.
Yariel G. 3.0 / 5 Average
Carved column details wowed me, but stops felt too rushed.
Pit K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Our guide started joking on the bus and the group felt like family fast. Stories around Sultanahmet were so alive, and on the Bosphorus boat he checked on everyone. Katalay team was easy too. Perfect day, zero stress.
Onalenna K. 4.0 / 5 Very Good
Our guide moved us from Sultanahmet to the Bosphorus so fast I felt like I lived centuries in one day, but the Grand Bazaar crowds were a bit too much.
Federico G. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Our guide told history so funny I nearly choked laughing in Topkapi; on the Bosphorus boat the palace gossip kept coming, and I tried bargaining simit with seagulls.
Florian K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Our guide slipped us into quiet backstreets and suddenly the city felt like a film set. The calm courtyards near Sultanahmet, little fountains, and tile textures were gold for photos, and he timed the light really well. The afternoon Bosphorus cruise was the hidden star for me—those waterfront mansions and bridges looked properly pro from the deck. Everything ran smooth, and the Katalay team was well organised.
Estuardo G. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Our guide was a machine; we did Topkapi, Sultanahmet, and the Grand Bazaar fast, then a chill Bosphorus cruise. Crazy how much fit in so little time, everything ran smooth.
Taras K. 4.0 / 5 Very Good
Our guide told history stories so well I felt like I was in a palace soap opera. We walked around Sultanahmet, saw Hagia Sophia from outside, then the Bosphorus cruise had even the seagulls doing a show. Funniest part: he explained it like “Ottoman gossip.” But the crowds near the Grand Bazaar were a bit too much and I nearly lost the group. Still, really enjoyable.
Yun-Wei L. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Guide showed hidden photo spots; Bosphorus light was just unreal.
Chinaza O. 3.0 / 5 Average
Our guide’s stories at Topkapi Palace really pulled me in, like old Istanbul came alive. But the schedule felt rushed and we waited too long to board the Bosphorus boat, which got tiring. Still, that history moment stayed with me.
Wai Ling C. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
I blinked and we were hearing stories at Topkapi, then cruising the Bosphorus with that breeze; crazy how much we fit in so little time, everything ran smooth.
Benoît L. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Laughing together on the Bosphorus turned strangers into friends; my heart stayed there.
Renzo V. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
What hit me most was when our guide slipped us away from the crowds to a back terrace near Süleymaniye; the light over the Golden Horn was perfect and my photos came out almost pro level. Then on the Bosphorus boat, wind, waterfront mansions, seagulls… it all just flowed. The history bits weren’t boring either, just enough. 5/5, everything felt spot on.
Esteban Q. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Our guide made me fall for the city in minutes; we fit Hagia Sophia area, Sultanahmet, and a Bosphorus cruise into so little time. By the end my heart was full, like returning to an old memory.
Dimas R. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
The guide’s history stories were so funny, I kept giggling even on the Bosphorus.
Youssef B. 4.0 / 5 Very Good
Our guide had an eye for the small stuff in old stonework; the columns near the Hippodrome and the arches inside the underground cistern were just stunning. In the palace courtyards you can feel the layers of history. The Bosphorus ride was calm, with wooden waterfront houses and bits of old walls sliding by. But a couple stops felt rushed because of crowds, so 4 stars.
Camilo P. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Gliding on the Bosphorus with our tiny group, the guide’s Topkapi stories made it feel exclusive, like Istanbul was just ours.
Hussain A. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Our guide grabbed us from the hotel into an air‑con bus; my only stress was laughing at seagulls, Bosphorus cruise and Sultanahmet felt dreamy.
Andreas P. 3.0 / 5 Average
When the Bosphorus turned pink at golden hour, I just stared like a confused seagull. The Old City stories were fun, and our guide had jokes that actually landed. But the timing was rough: long waits at a couple stops, then we rushed through others. Katalay team was kind, still the day felt a bit squeezed.
Bence K. 4.0 / 5 Very Good
Hearing our guide’s voice echo in the old streets made me feel like I stepped into a movie. Hotel pick-up was right on time, the air-conditioned bus felt like a lifesaver, and everything ran smooth between stops. The Bosphorus cruise was the soft, nostalgic moment I didn’t know I needed, and Topkapi and Sultanahmet felt heavy with history. But the Grand Bazaar area was a bit too crowded, so not 5.
Taras K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Our guide’s palace intrigue story at Topkapi hit me; drifting on the Bosphorus, it all came alive, just perfect.
Wanjiku N. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
What surprised me most was how much they fit into one day. Our guide flowed us through the Old City without feeling rushed; Sultanahmet Square, the Hippodrome, and the spice-scented market all blended together and time just went. My real wow moment was stepping onto the Bosphorus boat—seeing two continents in one view felt unreal. Everything ran smooth.
Renato G. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Our guide slipped us into back streets; tiled courtyards and rooftop views made my pics look pro. On the Bosphorus boat, golden-hour light… perfecto, zero stress.
Areeb K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Guide broke down tiny carvings on old walls and ruins; Bosphorus breeze was just perfect.
Björk S. 4.0 / 5 Very Good
Best part was how we turned into a tiny UN by lunchtime; I shared simit with a guy from Canada and everyone fought seagulls (seagulls won). We wandered around Sultanahmet, got a dose of history at Topkapi, then the Bosphorus breeze did my hair dirty. Guide was funny and kept stories flowing, but the Grand Bazaar area was a bit too crowded, so not 5. Still laughed a lot.
Selamawit K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Our guide made it feel effortless from the hotel pick-up; the air-conditioned bus was a relief and every transfer ran smooth. History just flowed in Sultanahmet, then the Bosphorus cruise breeze was perfect. Katalay team really knows their stuff.
Bojan K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Our guide turned us into a little team in minutes, and I ended up laughing with new friends from all over. Walking around Sultanahmet then cruising the Bosphorus felt perfect; even the seagulls joined, trying to steal my simit. Everything ran smooth.
Thando K. 4.0 / 5 Very Good
Our guide made us feel like family from the start, and the wow moment was drifting on the Bosphorus and seeing two continents at once. He slipped in little stories around Sultanahmet and kept everyone included. But the Grand Bazaar area was a bit too crowded, so it got hard to hear the group sometimes.
Stavros K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
They picked me up right on time, and the air-conditioned bus felt like a small refuge; the whole day just flowed. Walking the old streets and cruising the Bosphorus left me weirdly nostalgic, and the guide’s stories were so warm.
Renzo P. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
What hit me first was walking past the big lines and just going in. Guide was super chill, stories were fun too. We cruised around Sultanahmet, no queue drama at Topkapi, then the Bosphorus ride was the perfect reset. Everything flowed, zero stress, just Istanbul vibes.
Yuting L. 4.0 / 5 Very Good
What stayed with me was drifting on the Bosphorus with our tiny group while the guide quietly told stories about the waterfront mansions—it felt kind of exclusive. The Old City walk had enough stops for photos around Sultanahmet, but the Grand Bazaar area got a bit too crowded and rushed, so not 5 stars. Still, I enjoyed it a lot.
Matteo B. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
I bonded with strangers, Bosphorus felt like home.
Tobias K. 4.0 / 5 Very Good
Our guide explained everything clearly from the start, which I really liked. We walked around Sultanahmet, seeing the area by Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque, then went into Topkapi Palace. Lunch was okay but felt a bit rushed. The Bosphorus cruise was the calmest part of the day, cool wind and nice views of the waterfront mansions. Timing was mostly good, just a little too much waiting at a couple stops.
Radek P. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
When our guide pointed at an arch, I suddenly noticed the centuries in the stone and it hit me hard. Old streets, mosaics, broken columns… then on the Bosphorus the domes and palace walls just drifted by. Everything felt perfect.
Jannis K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Seamless pickup, cool AC bus; my heart stayed there.
Miroslav K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Hotel pickup was flawless; the air-con bus made me nap like a champ.
Mekdes T. 4.0 / 5 Very Good
As the boat slid along the Bosphorus I felt this quiet joy, like an old song. I met people from Spain and Korea in our group; we laughed, shared tea, and it didn’t feel like strangers. Walking around Sultanahmet and the smells of the Grand Bazaar hit me with nostalgia. Our guide was warm and patient with the history, but at a couple stops the crowds made it a bit squished. Still, the day stayed with me.
Rania K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
My favorite moment was stepping onto the boat on the Bosphorus, the city looks totally different from the water. Then we walked around Sultanahmet, saw Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque from outside, and I even got a little lost in the Grand Bazaar. The guide explained history in a simple way, not boring, and the group felt relaxed. Long day but worth it.
Hira S. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
What stayed with me most was how calm the city felt once we got on the Bosphorus in the afternoon. We walked around Sultanahmet, saw the outside of Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque, and got a bit lost in the Grand Bazaar. The guide told stories well, not too much talking. Only thing, it’s a long day so comfy shoes are really needed. Katalay team was helpful at the meeting point too.
Yating L. 4.0 / 5 Very Good
My favorite part was cruising on the Bosphorus and seeing Europe and Asia at the same time. In the Old City we covered a lot around Sultanahmet Square and the area near Hagia Sophia, and Topkapi’s courtyards were really nice too. The guide explained the history in a way that’s easy to follow, but the schedule felt a bit rushed and lunch was just ok. Still, a very full day.
Javier N. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Our guide basically hit fast-forward on the city: history in Sultanahmet, bargaining in the Grand Bazaar, then salty wind on the Bosphorus. We covered so much in one day I kept joking, “do we get a tea break too?” 5/5, everything was perfect.
Kareem S. 4.0 / 5 Very Good
Our guide pulled us in like family from minute one, jokes + little history bits, checked on everyone. Old City walk and the Bosphorus boat ride were super nice, but the Grand Bazaar area was crazy crowded.
Mehdi B. 4.0 / 5 Very Good
What stayed with me most was how calm the city felt once the boat started moving on the Bosphorus. In the Old City we walked around Sultanahmet, saw Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque from outside, and had a short free time in the Grand Bazaar. The guide knew a lot, but we rushed a bit at some stops, I wanted more time for photos. Still, it was a full day and the views were really nice.
Yender S. 4.0 / 5 Very Good
What surprised me most was the moment we got on the boat on the Bosphorus, it felt like the city suddenly calms down. Fabián R. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
The moment that stayed with me was on the boat, warm tea in my hands and the wind hitting my face on the Bosphorus. Walking in the old city was a bit tiring but worth it; around Sultanahmet, outside of Hagia Sophia, the Basilica Cistern and the Grand Bazaar all in one day. The guide explained history in a simple way, and answered my questions with patience. Not everything was perfect (traffic), but it was a really nice day.
Rana K. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

Long day, but zero stress and everything just worked.

The best moment for me was on the boat, seeing the city suddenly look calmer from the Bosphorus. We walked around Sultanahmet area most of the day, and Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque were really impressive even from outside. The guide kept the stories short and easy to follow, which I liked because too much info makes me tired. It was a bit rushed at times, but still a full day.
Bastien R. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Linus K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
My favorite part was honestly stepping out of the busy Old City and suddenly being on the Bosphorus boat, it felt calm right away. The guide knew a lot of history but didn’t make it feel like a lecture. We passed by the Hippodrome area, Sultanahmet, and the Grand Bazaar; I just wish the free time in the bazaar was a bit longer. Seeing Dolmabahçe and the bridges from the water was really nice.
Yamil C. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Our guide made us feel comfortable from the first minute and kept a good pace without rushing us all day. Walking around Sultanahmet near Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque felt special, and I liked the little details at Topkapi. The moment we stepped onto the boat near sunset, my heart just went soft. Golden light painted the minarets and rooftops like honey, and the Bosphorus water turned pink-blue. We wandered the old city lanes and the squares felt full of stories, like they still hang in the air. Our guide was so kind, never rushing us, explaining things calm. By evening I missed Istanbul already, weirdly.

The Bosphorus cruise in the afternoon was my favorite part, seeing the city from the water feels different. It was packed but not too stressful, only wish we had a bit more free time.

Our guide was calm and knew a lot, which helped on a long day. We walked around Sultanahmet, saw Hagia Sophia from the outside, and had a short stop at the Grand Bazaar. Then the Bosphorus cruise came, and being on the water felt like a real break. The group was a bit big and we rushed a couple stops, but overall it was well organized.
Krešimir P. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Our guide set the vibe fast; on the boat I ended up chatting with folks from Spain and Korea, lots of laughs. Wandered Sultanahmet, then Bosphorus breeze to finish—everything just clicked.
Rafiq S. 4.0 / 5 Very Good
Our guide had good energy in the morning and the day moved fast. I enjoyed walking around Sultanahmet and seeing Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque from outside, and the stories at Topkapi were nice too. The Bosphorus cruise was the most relaxing part and perfect for photos. Only the lunch stop felt a bit crowded and kind of rushed.
Berkay S. 4.0 / 5 Very Good
Our guide started dropping city “spoilers” the moment we got off the bus, and I basically forgot my coffee and followed. In a short time we covered Sultanahmet Square, the Hippodrome, the Grand Bazaar, then a Bosphorus cruise… like Istanbul on fast-forward. The history bits weren’t boring, actually pretty funny. But the bazaar crowds made it easy to lose the group sometimes, so not a full 5.
Esteban Q. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
I barely started walking and it felt like I lived a whole week. Around Hagia Sophia, Sultanahmet, Topkapi courtyards, then the boat on the Bosphorus… all packed into one day. The guide told the history with heart, I didn’t get bored once. That late-afternoon breeze on the water hit me and I felt weirdly nostalgic.
Renato L. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
My favorite part was slipping in before the crowds really woke up; our guide walked us past ticket lines, shared stories at Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque, then the Bosphorus cruise felt like a cool reset. Everything ran smooth.
Shanice B. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Our guide started joking with us on the bus and kept the whole group feeling like family all day. My wow moment was sipping tea on the Bosphorus boat, watching the city stretch across two continents, while his little history stories made it come alive. Nothing felt rushed, just easy.
Benoît L. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Our guide started telling Istanbul’s history like a novel and I was hooked. Walking through Sultanahmet, it felt like every stone had a secret; the stories inside Hagia Sophia and the Basilica Cistern gave me chills. Ending on the Bosphorus at sunset just filled me with nostalgia.
Renzo P. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
By the end of the day my head was full of history and views. The walk around Sultanahmet was nice and easy, and the guide explained Topkapi and Hagia Sophia in a simple way. We had a short free time at the Grand Bazaar, it was crowded but I expected that. The Bosphorus boat ride was the surprise for me, the wind and the light were so good, the city felt like it showed another side.

Didn’t expect golden hour on the Bosphorus to hit me that hard, wow. The city just glowed, walls and domes changing colors every minute. Guide was chill, history bits were short and clear. Everything ran smooth, no stress.

Our guide was so funny we felt like cousins, not strangers; I laughed through Topkapi, Hippodrome, and the Bosphorus cruise.
Jiawen L. 4.0 / 5 Very Good
Our guide made things super easy from the first minute, which I appreciated. The old city walk was packed; we saw Sultanahmet Square, the outside of Hagia Sophia, and around the Grand Bazaar area. The Bosphorus cruise was the calmer part, wind was a bit strong but views were lovely. Only minus is we felt a little rushed at some stops and lunch was kinda average.
Rami K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Sometimes you look at the Bosphorus and your heart just goes soft, that was me. Our small group made everything feel private; the shadow of Hagia Sophia, the calm inside Sultanahmet, the smells of the Grand Bazaar. The guide told stories without rushing. On the boat the wind hit my face and I felt like a kid again. Perfect day.

Our guide pulled us together like family from the first minute, with jokes and patience that warmed my heart. Walking around Sultanahmet felt like history was breathing, then on the Bosphorus the wind made me quietly emotional. When it ended I didnt want to leave, everything felt perfect.
Fahad A. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Our guide moved us through the city like fast-forward; suddenly Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, then a Bosphorus cruise. We covered so much my step counter basically resigned. Katalay team ran it all super smooth.
Ernesto G. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Our guide had me noticing stonework right away; the worn columns at the Hippodrome and the cistern arches felt unreal. In the afternoon on the Bosphorus, palace facades looked like sketches on the water. Katalay team made it all smooth.
Salim A. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
I loved how private it felt with our small group, away from the noise. The guide shared Sultanahmet stories at an easy pace, and lunch never felt rushed. Then we switched to the Bosphorus boat, with mansions and bridges glowing near sunset. Everything ran smooth, no stress at all.
Tadas K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
It felt like slipping through the crowd; we walked straight in at Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque, then on the Bosphorus I just breathed with the wind. The guide’s stories made the whole day feel like an old memory.

What hit me most was going from thousand-year old buildings to the cool wind on the Bosphorus in the same day. We walked around Sultanahmet, saw Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque from outside, then Topkapi’s courtyards and stories. The guide was calm and didn’t lose us in the crowds. Only thing is the day felt long so my feet were tired by the end, but worth it.

What surprised me most was gliding on the Bosphorus and still fitting so much Old City into one day; our guide shared quick history and kept things moving, but the Grand Bazaar stop felt a bit too crowded and rushed.
Miha K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Our guide spoke like even the stones had stories. Walking the old city, I kept staring at arches, mosaics, worn columns, feeling this soft nostalgia I didn’t expect. The Hippodrome bits and the cool underground cistern stayed with me. Then drifting on the Bosphorus… palace facades, wooden mansions, minarets sliding by like an old movie. Everything felt perfectly paced, no rushing.
Emiliano G. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Our guide started joking the minute we got on the bus, and I almost snorted my coffee. Hotel pick-up was smooth, and the air-conditioned bus saved my life in the Istanbul heat. We wandered around Sultanahmet, got “lost” in the Grand Bazaar and somehow found again, then the Bosphorus breeze turned my hair into a comedy show. Everything ran perfect.
Jordi P. 3.0 / 5 Average
Hotel pick-up was smooth, and the A/C bus felt comfy. I liked the guide’s history bits, and the Bosphorus cruise was a nice break. But we waited around a lot and some stops felt rushed, kinda tiring.
Mubarak A. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Our guide had me laughing in the first minutes; it wasn’t a history class, more like story time with gossip. Walking around Sultanahmet, every corner had a tale and he knew them all. At Topkapi, the palace drama made my wife whisper “our family is calmer.” The Bosphorus cruise was perfect too—wind, seagulls, tea… all just right.
Tilen K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
The moment we got on the boat on the Bosphorus was my favorite part of the day. The guide was easy to talk to, and while walking around Sultanahmet (outside Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Hippodrome) he explained the stories in a nice way. They gave us a bit of free time at the Grand Bazaar, which was good because I didn’t want to rush. It’s a full schedule but not exhausting, the pace felt just right.
Þorsteinn H. 4.0 / 5 Very Good
Our guide kept us moving through the busy spots, which I honestly needed. Walking around Sultanahmet, seeing the outside of Hagia Sophia and stopping by the Hippodrome was a nice mix. Then the Bosphorus cruise felt like a calmer, cooler break. It was a bit rushed at times and lunch was kinda quick, but overall it was a full day and more relaxed than I expected.
Jordi F. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Gliding on the Bosphorus made Istanbul feel like a movie set. In the morning we walked the old city; around Sultanahmet, the Hippodrome, and a bit of the Grand Bazaar. The guide explained history in a simple way, not too heavy. Long day but the pacing was fine, only complaint is it got a bit too crowded.
Vukasin P. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Our guide escaped the crowds in minute one, and I felt weirdly VIP (my wallet disagreed). Small group meant we actually breathed around Sultanahmet, and Topkapi stories were like a sitcom. I tried to look serious at lunch, failed because of the tea. On the Bosphorus cruise I made eye contact with a seagull and lost. Perfect day.
Ezequiel P. 4.0 / 5 Very Good
What stuck with me was our guide telling the story of the old chariot races at the Hippodrome, like the stones suddenly had a voice. The Bosphorus cruise was a calm reset after all that history, but the Grand Bazaar area felt a bit too crowded. 4/5.

Our guide made us feel relaxed from the first minute, and the day went really smooth. We walked around Sultanahmet area, seeing the Hippodrome, Blue Mosque area and around Hagia Sophia, then went into the courtyards of Topkapi Palace. Lunch stop was a bit rushed but we still covered a lot. My favorite part was the Bosphorus cruise, the breeze and the views just hit different. Katalay team also helped with the meeting point and transport.

Our guide paused us in a quiet corner of Topkapi Palace and, with one story, suddenly the whole Ottoman world felt real to me—goosebumps stuff. Then we wandered the old lanes into Sultanahmet Square, and later on the Bosphorus cruise it all sort of clicked together. The storytelling was sharp and he answered every random question. Nothing felt rushed, the day just flowed.

My favorite moment was feeling the wind on the Bosphorus and seeing two continents at once. In the morning we walked around Sultanahmet, saw Hagia Sophia from outside, stopped by the Blue Mosque and the Hippodrome area. The guide explained the history in a simple way, not boring. Lunch was a bit rushed, but overall it felt relaxed and the pacing was good.
Bree S. 4.0 / 5 Very Good
Our guide turned every corner of the Old City into a story, and walking around Sultanahmet I could almost feel the Byzantine and Ottoman layers. The tales around Hagia Sophia and the little details at the Hippodrome really got under my skin, then the Bosphorus breeze made it all feel weirdly nostalgic. But a couple stops felt rushed because of the crowds, so not quite 5 stars. Still, I left with a full heart.

The most unexpected moment was the wind hitting my face when we got on the boat on the Bosphorus. The day was pretty full but well organized; we walked around Sultanahmet, saw Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque from outside, and had a little time in the Grand Bazaar too. The guide was polite and explained the history in a simple way. It’s a long day, but I left with a clearer picture of the city.

My favorite part was getting on the boat in the afternoon and just feeling the wind on the Bosphorus. In the morning we walked around Sultanahmet, saw the Hippodrome and the Basilica Cistern; the guide knew a lot but didn’t talk in a boring way. The group was a bit big so sometimes we rushed photos, but the day felt really full. Seeing Dolmabahçe and the bridges from the water was something else.

What stayed with me most was going from the busy Old City streets to the boat on the Bosphorus, it felt like a different Istanbul. Our guide explained Hagia Sophia, Sultanahmet and the Basilica Cistern in a calm way, I learned a lot. Lunch was simple but ok. Seeing the palaces and bridges from the water, with the wind and some tea, was the best part of the day.

Best moment was our guide sneaking us into the back corners near the Hippodrome; even the pigeons knew how to pose. On the Bosphorus cruise the light was chef’s kiss for photos, and I felt heroic not dropping my phone. But the Grand Bazaar was so crowded I missed a few shots.
Yanelis P. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

What I loved most was the group vibe; we were chatting with people from different countries before the bus even got going. The guide made Sultanahmet’s stories feel alive, and the Bosphorus cruise had that breezy, postcard view. But the Grand Bazaar stop was a bit too crowded, so not 5.

We got into the Hagia Sophia area and around the Blue Mosque without the usual crowd-wrestling, and I had to stop myself waving at the poor souls still waiting. The Bosphorus cruise was a lovely breather—tea in hand, losing a staring contest with a seagull. Katalay team made it all run spot on.
