Rafiq H. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Seamless hotel pickup and cool bus, pure comfort.

Taras K. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

Our guide moved fast; we covered Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, and the Basilica Cistern in no time, my head was full. But some waits were long, felt a bit rushed.

Mindaugas K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Dropping down into the cistern, the city noise just vanished and it was only dripping water and that cool stone smell. Our group was small, so we could stand between the columns and actually look at the Medusa heads without being pushed around. The guide kept it short and interesting, not boring. Everything felt smooth and kind of exclusive.

Sachini P. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our guide made even the stones of Istanbul feel alive. The stories inside Hagia Sophia honestly tightened my throat; I just stood quiet at the Blue Mosque. Down in the Basilica Cistern, history felt like whispers. I left with my heart full.

Federico L. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

Our guide kept us in a tiny group and it felt really private, like touching old Istanbul. Standing quiet in the Blue Mosque, the shadows in Hagia Sophia, and the reflections in the Basilica Cistern hit me hard, but we waited a bit at the entrance.

Raghav S. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our guide made domes and ancient stones sound like stand-up, not history class; the cistern was cool, perfect.

Niamh K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

From the very first minute our guide pulled us together like old mates. Walking around Sultanahmet, the history never felt like a lecture, more like a lively chat, and the group honestly felt like family. The light inside Hagia Sophia, then the cool echo of the Basilica Cistern, is still stuck in my head. They never rushed questions, shared little local tips, and even took our photos. The Katalay team kept it all running smooth.

Neema K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our guide slipped us past the crowds so fast; the wow moment was stepping into the underground cistern with zero line. Cool air, columns, and those reflections… felt miles away from the noise above. Everything ran smooth.

Yamil R. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our guide sliced through the crowds like magic; our tiny group felt VIP and I kept pretending I was a sultan. Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Cistern: zero stress, lots of laughs.

Eemeli K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our guide made us feel like a little family within minutes. Walking around Sultanahmet, the stories were short but vivid; in Hagia Sophia I honestly forgot the crowds for a while. The Blue Mosque had this calm, respectful vibe and the guide kept it that way. Basilica Cistern was my unexpected highlight—cool air, soft lights, and that quiet echo. Katalay team handled the details so smoothly, no stress at all.

Bartosz K. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

Walking through Sultanahmet near golden hour, the city colors went soft and warm, like everything was dipped in honey. Our guide told stories in Hagia Sophia and the cool quiet in the Basilica Cistern felt strangely nostalgic, almost like a memory. But the crowds were heavy in spots and we got squeezed a bit, so not quite 5 stars.

Berkay S. 3.0 / 5 Average

Our guide pointed out sneaky photo corners; the light in Hagia Sophia and reflections in the Basilica Cistern were unreal. But crowds made a few stops feel rushed, and we waited in lines a lot. Nice and short, just kinda hectic.

Tõnu K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Cistern reflections made my photos pop, perfect.

Rami K. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

Our guide dodged crowds like a magician; skip-the-line got us into Hagia Sophia and the Cistern fast, but the walking was kinda long.

My biggest wow moment was stepping down into the Basilica Cistern and feeling that cool, echoing quiet. Because we were a small group, it felt kind of private and we could actually stop and look instead of fighting crowds; the guide kept the history short but vivid. However the entry line near Hagia Sophia was a bit long, so not 5 stars. Still, it felt exclusive in a good way.

Our guide explained it simply, no overload. Everything ran smooth, even with crowds, and we never felt rushed, so I could actually stare at the stone details.

Tsvetan K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

The moment we went underground was the part I won’t forget, the cool air and echoes in the cistern hit you right away. Our guide explained the layers of Hagia Sophia and the details in the Blue Mosque in a simple way, not boring. It was crowded of course, but we moved at a good pace and had small stops for photos. After, I got a bit lost around the square but in a nice way.

The guide’s stories made Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, and Basilica Cistern feel like living history.

Wing S. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Somehow I felt like I was walking inside old Istanbul again, and our small group made it all feel private. The guide told stories in a calm voice and the crowds kind of slipped past us. The light in the Blue Mosque, the hush in Hagia Sophia, and the cool Basilica Cistern still stay with me. Perfect.

Laith Q. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Mosaics, domes, and the underground columns stunned me; the guide’s stories made ancient stones feel alive.

Raghav S. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Near golden hour the city glowed like a filter; our guide’s jokes had me giggling like a kid, totally ruined my serious face. Blue tiles, Hagia Sophia light, cistern reflections—everything felt spot on, perfect.

Stepping down into the underground cistern gave me goosebumps, the lights and columns were so striking. Then we walked through the mosque and Hagia Sophia; even with the crowds the guide kept a good pace and told stories. It was a bit rushed, but still really memorable.

Shira L. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

The moment we went down into the cistern surprised me, it was cool and a bit spooky. Our guide explained the details in Hagia Sophia and also how to behave in the mosque in a calm way. Even with crowds the pace felt well managed. Walking around Sultanahmet everything felt close together. It was a little rushed but never boring.

Neema K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Near golden hour the city just changes color, I was kinda stunned. Blue Mosque courtyard glowing, Hagia Sophia walls going pink-ish… then Basilica Cistern cool and dark, like a movie set. Our guide was super chill, gave history without boring us. Everything flowed, no rushing. My pics came out crazy good.

Bastien L. 3.0 / 5 Average

Best part was meeting people from all over, the vibe was really nice. Our guide shared cool bits of history at Hagia Sophia and the Basilica Cistern. But the crowds and long lines made it feel rushed, and we walked more than I expected. 3/5.

Mariam S. 3.0 / 5 Average

Our group was tiny, felt kinda exclusive, and the guide told the Hagia Sophia stories really well. But the waiting dragged and the walking got tiring, esp. heading to the Basilica Cistern. 3/5.

Mariam A. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

Skipping the long lines honestly saved my mood. We slid into the sights fast, no standing around with the huge crowds. Guide kept it simple, and the vibe inside Hagia Sophia + that cool air in the Basilica Cistern was wow. Super smooth overall. But a couple stops felt a bit rushed, like we could’ve had 10 more mins. Still, worth it.

Chinaza O. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

The real surprise was how our guide slipped us away from the crowds and pointed out photo angles; the courtyard tiles and the cistern reflections looked straight-up pro. Light inside Hagia Sophia was perfect. Stories were short but rich. Everything ran smooth, I didn’t get bored once.

Stepping down into the underground cistern was the part that hit me most, cool and quiet. The guide explained the past of Hagia Sophia in a simple way, not boring. Inside the Blue Mosque it was a bit crowded and I felt we rushed a little. Still, it was worth it, specially the light and details.

Nadir B. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

We’d barely started walking and somehow we covered three big sites back to back, the pace was perfect. My wow moment was going down into the Basilica Cistern; cool, quiet, and the lights felt magical. The guide kept history short and didn’t waste time.

Stepping into the air-conditioned bus felt like relief; hotel pickup was flawless, and Hagia Sophia and the Cistern still haunt my dreams.

Wei Ling T. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

The cool air hit me the moment we walked down into the cistern. Our guide explained things in a simple way without drowning us in details. I didn’t expect the layered history in Hagia Sophia and the calm feeling inside the mosque. It was crowded, but the pacing was ok and we didn’t rush. Also had a small photo stop at the end which I appreciated.

Radek P. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our guide in the first minute proved he knows more about stone and marble than I ever will, so I just nodded like “yes yes.” The domes in the Blue Mosque look like giant bowls stacked, and inside Hagia Sophia feels like a history lasagna. Down in the Basilica Cistern I nearly walked into a column while staring at the Medusa head. Katalay team kept it smooth, nothing felt rushed. 5/5, even my knees are happy.

Carmen L. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Walking down into the underground cistern felt cooler and quieter than I expected, and the reflections on the water were really nice. Our guide explained the details in Hagia Sophia and the tiles at the mosque nearby in a simple way, not boring. It was crowded but we moved at a good pace and didn’t wait too long. Only wish we had 10 more mins to look around alone inside.

Jannik F. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

Our guide was younger than us but talked history like a professor; with our tiny group we felt VIP in Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and the Basilica Cistern, but the cistern line was a bit long.

Tashana B. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

The moment we went down into the Basilica Cistern, the cool air and echoes just hit me. Our guide explained things in a clear, short way and kept the group together. Around Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque it was crowded, but the stops were planned well so it didn’t feel rushed. We walked a bit fast at times, but overall it was really organized.

What stayed with me most was the cool air and the lights inside the Basilica Cistern. Our guide explained things in a simple way, and I liked the details in Hagia Sophia. Only downside: we waited a bit at entrances and the group was a little big. Still, walking around Sultanahmet was really nice.

Our guide sneaked me to hidden photo corners; I posed like a secret agent by the columns, the mosque light was unreal, and the cistern reflections were pure magic.

Tuomas K. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

Walking down into the cistern gave me chills. Our guide dropped these stories about emperors, earthquakes, and faith shifts that made the stones feel alive. Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque hit hard too, but the crowds got a bit much and I missed a few words.

Tõnis K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

We felt comfortable with the guide right away, and the explanations were clear. Walking around Sultanahmet was nice; even with crowds the pace was ok. Sitting quietly inside the Blue Mosque for a moment was my favorite part. Then the stories in Hagia Sophia and the cool air in the Basilica Cistern… such a good contrast. Only thing, at the cistern there was a bit of pushing for photos, but not really the tour’s fault.

Small note: the security line took a while, just expect it.

My favorite part was going underground; the cool air and lights in the cistern felt calm after the city noise. Only the security line was a bit long, but thats not really anyone’s fault.

Fantastic. Haluk was an entertaining guide who ensured that “his” group had the best possible experience at the hotspots! I would have liked to stay longer in the cistern, but Haluk was also trying to save us from the incoming crowds. Anytime again: a fun guide with no lines and incredibly rich background knowledge!

Rui F. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

Stepping under those huge domes made me feel like an ant, and my neck complained fast. Our guide explained the mosaics and massive columns so well I swear the stones had gossip. Down in the cistern, the Medusa heads made me turn away like, nope, no eye contact. The Katalay team kept things smooth, but the crowds sometimes made photos a bit of a battle. Still, if you like ancient ruins and details, it hits the spot.

From the first minute, our guide’s energy made the group feel like family. Walking through Sultanahmet together, nobody got left behind, and every question was answered with patience. The light in the Blue Mosque, the layered history inside Hagia Sophia, and that cool, moody feeling in the Basilica Cistern all landed better because of the storytelling. A few small jokes and local tips kept it relaxed even in the crowds. Honestly, it felt perfect.

Great tour! The guide knew a lot and he was very nice and willing to answer any questions. It was a bit hard to find the tour guide initially but super happy with the overall experience.

Constantina P. 3.0 / 5 Average

Its a tour that everyone must do to meet the some of the most important sights in Constantinoupoli. The tour would be more relaxing if less than 4hours. Especially now in summer it was too hot. You need a hat or umbrella for sure a ventalia especially inside basilica cistern and blue mosque I have to say that is so sad to see hagia Sophia full of islamic signs and erased most of the christianism painting and transformed it to a Mosque The history behind Hagia Sophia is huge and valuable and should stay as it was. So pity Our guide explained in detail and answers questions The only annoying thing in the whole narrative is that the guide talk about religious issues, mentioning that Jesus is a prophet like Muhammad. For orthodox Christians, Jesus is the son of God and part of the holy trinity. And because there are different nationalities on the tour, it is wrong for the guide to mention anything about everyone's religion as he see it or believe it.

Rania K. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

The thing I still remember most is the cool, quiet feeling down in the underground cistern. Our guide kept us moving smoothly around Sultanahmet and explained the stories behind the domes and mosaics in a simple way. As the sun started to drop, Istanbul turned into pure color and I felt oddly homesick in a good way. Down in the Basilica Cistern, the lamps on the water made the city feel like it was whispering. Our guide shared history softly, never rushed. Katalay team made it all easy.

The best surprise was our guide sneaking us into “secret” photo corners between the crowds, like I was on a spy mission (a sweaty one). They gave angle tips for the tiles and domes, and my phone suddenly looked professional. Down in the Basilica Cistern, the reflections were unreal; I nearly said hello to my own echo. Everything ran perfectly, and the Katalay team were dead easy.

Rui G. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our guide was like a big cousin, made us family; Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Cistern—everything felt perfect.

Aroha P. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

The group vibe was so good, we were chatting with people from all over within minutes. Guide made the stories in Hagia Sophia and the Basilica Cistern really click. Only thing: the crowds around Sultanahmet got a bit full-on, but still heaps of fun.

Thando K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent

Our guide made it feel personal from minute one; with the small group we never got swallowed by the crowds. Wandering around Sultanahmet felt calm, almost like it was just for us. The details inside Hagia Sophia and the quiet mood of the Blue Mosque landed better with the little history stories he told. Basilica Cistern was moody with the lights and echoes. Katalay team ran it smoothly, no rushing at all.

Harriet P. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

Our guide made us feel like family from minute one, bringing Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and the Basilica Cistern to life with warm stories, but the crowds made a few moments feel a bit squashed.

The cool air down in the cistern was the thing that hooked me right away. Our guide explained the story without going on forever, and we moved through the crowds around Sultanahmet at a decent pace. The details in Hagia Sophia and the inside of the Blue Mosque were honestly impressive. Only downside: we waited a bit too long for entry at one stop, but overall it was well organized.

Stepping under that huge dome, I just stared; our guide decoded columns and mosaics, while I tried to chase my echo in the cistern.

Walking down into the cistern was the bit that caught me off guard, so cool and a little eerie. Our guide kept us moving through the crowds and explained the stories behind Hagia Sophia and the mosque really clearly. It didn’t feel rushed, and we had a bit of time for photos too. Only thing is the security line was long, but I guess that’s just Istanbul.

The moment we went underground and felt the cool air in the Basilica Cistern, I realized how many layers Istanbul has. The guide didn’t lose the group even in the crowds, and explained the stories in a simple way. The tiles inside the Blue Mosque were so beautiful, and in Hagia Sophia the light and quietness felt special. There was a bit of standing around, but worth it.

I saw the lines and honestly panicked, so the skip-the-line part was a lifesaver. Guide got us in fast and we dodged the worst crowds inside Hagia Sophia and the Basilica Cistern. Blue Mosque vibes were calm, and he shared history in a simple way. But a couple stops felt a bit rushed, like I needed 2 more mins for photos.

Walking down into the cistern, the cool air hit me and the city noise just disappeared. Our guide told the stories in a simple way, not confusing. Then we walked around Sultanahmet Square and got to see the mosque and Hagia Sophia, and even with the crowds it didn’t feel too rushed. The audio headset cut out once or twice, but honestly it was a really good few hours.

Our guide made us feel like cousins, not random tourists, from minute one. His jokes had us forgetting the crowds; at one point he explained Hagia Sophia like it was “Byzantine gossip” and we were cracking up. I had a small shoe confusion at the Blue Mosque and he rescued me fast. In the Basilica Cistern his voice echoed and he pretended he was an opera star. Katalay team kept it all smooth.
