Riding an ATV between the fairy chimneys at sunrise felt unreal. Our guide slipped us into quiet corners of the valleys, where the balloons drifted above like a moving backdrop for proper photos. We stopped at a small viewpoint and the light was just perfect, even the dust looked cinematic. The Katalay team was quick, clear, and really careful with safety.

Tiago F. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
The guide told fairy chimneys stories like an old soap opera; on the sunrise ATV I laughed so hard my helmet fogged.
Rizky P. 4.0 / 5 Very Good
Our guide started cracking jokes before sunrise and I was laughing inside the helmet like a foggy aquarium. Hotel pick-up was super smooth and the air-conditioned van saved my sleepy soul. Riding the ATV through the valleys and seeing the fairy chimneys in the distance was seriously fun. But we waited a bit too long at the viewpoint to watch the balloons, so it didn’t feel perfect. Still, really worth it.

The sunrise made the valley look like someone spilled a paint box, and I was the dusty cartoon hero on an ATV. The guide explained the rules fast, then we rolled through Rose Valley and Love Valley, with the town glowing gold and pink below. Balloons floating above us made me laugh inside my helmet (felt ridiculous but happy). The Katalay team kept it smooth and chill, no rushing anyone. Two hours was just right.
Brianna K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Seeing the balloons lift off while I was on an ATV honestly made me feel like a kid again. Our group was tiny, so it didn’t feel crowded, more like a private little escape. The guide was calm and watchful, and we rode dusty tracks between the fairy chimneys toward Red Valley. At each stop it was quiet except the engines, and it hit me in this weird emotional way. Katalay team made everything easy. I still think about that sunrise.

The moment the engine kicked in, I felt like a kid again; sunrise over the valleys was unreal. We laughed and got muddy with people from all over, like instant mates. Our guide was calm and funny, and the Katalay team kept it all smooth. Still feels cosy remembering it.

The best part for me was the silence—riding the ATV on the dirt track while the sun came up, wind in my face. We went past the fairy chimneys and you could see the balloons lifting off in the distance. Our guide was patient, gave a quick lesson for beginners, and didn’t rush anyone. It does get dusty, but that’s part of it. 2 hours went faster than I thought.

I didn’t expect to get so dusty, but at sunrise it kinda fit the whole vibe. We rode near Red Valley and then through the fairy chimneys, with hot air balloons floating above us in silence. The guide kept things short and clear, and was patient with the people who were nervous. ATVs were in good shape, only thing is I wish I had brought goggles.

The moment I started the engine, the valley felt like it was waking up. Riding the ATV was fun, but the best part was laughing with people from different countries and becoming dusty friends. Our guide started talking about the stories behind Göreme’s valleys and I almost forgot I was on an ATV. Riding through the fairy chimneys at sunrise felt unreal. At the short stops, he slipped in little details about cave life and the layered history of the region, which made it more than just a ride. The Katalay team was clear and calm, safety briefing too. Dusty, yes, but worth it.

Watching the balloons lift off above us while driving an ATV felt a bit unreal. The route went through valleys and dusty tracks, with a couple stops to look out and take photos. With the hot air balloons floating above at sunrise, it felt kind of unreal. The guide was calm and clear, didn’t push anyone too fast. Only thing is it gets pretty dusty, but I expected that.

Fairy chimneys and old carved ruins, just epic.

Guide was chill, hotel pickup and AC bus comfy; but the waiting was too long.
Dimitris K. 4.0 / 5 Very Good
Our guide started cracking jokes before we even got on the ATVs, and I was laughing inside the helmet. The group was small, so it felt kinda private; we zoomed through Rose Valley and kicked up dust by the fairy chimneys. But we waited a bit at the start, so not 5 stars. Still, super fun, my clothes are still basically a desert.

The moment I got on the ATV, Cappadocia’s valleys felt like a living museum. Our guide shared fascinating stories about how the fairy chimneys formed and what cave life used to be like, so the ride had real meaning. Stopping near Pigeon Valley at sunrise to watch the balloons was something I won’t forget. However a couple stops felt a bit rushed, 2–3 more minutes for photos would help.
Yuting L. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
The moment the ATV rolled into the valleys, I felt like I slipped into an old story. At sunrise the rock faces looked soft, and the carved churches and ancient pigeon houses suddenly felt alive. Uçhisar’s silhouette sat in the distance and I just stared, kind of emotional. Our guide explained safety really clearly and never rushed us. Dust, engine noise… but it left a quiet nostalgia in my chest. 5/5.

I didn’t expect to get so dusty and still be smiling this much. We rode the ATV around Göreme at sunrise, with the fairy chimneys behind us and hot air balloons slowly filling the sky. The guide explained a bit and didn’t rush us, we stopped a few times for photos. Helmets and goggles were fine, I was just a little cold, bring a layer.
Florian K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Heading out into the valley before sunrise felt a bit crazy, but it was worth it. The ATVs were in good condition and they gave a short safety briefing. We drove dusty tracks between the fairy chimneys, and the light was unreal when the balloons started lifting off. Our guide didn’t rush us and we stopped a couple times for photos. Only thing: it gets pretty dusty, bring glasses.

Watching balloons drift over us while we rode through the valleys at sunrise felt like it was just our tiny group; the guide was so chill.

I didn’t expect the balloons above us to feel that close while riding through the valleys. The ATVs were in good shape and they gave a quick lesson, I felt comfortable. The route went through Love Valley and the sunrise views were kinda crazy. It’s dusty (normal), but the team stopped so we could take photos. Not trying to hype it, it was just well organized.

Riding an ATV through the valleys while the sun came up made me feel like a kid again. We were a small group, so the trails around Göreme felt almost private, and the guide kept it safe without rushing us. That quiet moment watching the balloons is still stuck in my head. But we waited a bit at the start, and that tiny delay kept it from 5 stars.

Our guide made the hotel pick-up so smooth I nearly climbed in wearing my slippers. The air-conditioned bus felt like gold; even my sleepy self was laughing. But we waited a bit at the start while the crowd gathered. ATV through the valleys was brilliant.

Riding through the valleys at sunrise felt a bit unreal, in the best way. The ATVs were in good shape and we did a quick practice loop, which helped because I’d never driven one before. The trails around Göreme and the fairy chimneys looked wild in that light, and we even saw balloons in the distance. Guide was calm and clear, didn’t rush us. I was covered in dust after, but worth it.

What surprised me most was the quiet, mixed with the engine sound and then it just disappears in the valley. We rode between the fairy chimneys at sunrise and the balloons drifted over us slowly. The guide spoke little but clear, and safety was good. A bit dusty of course, but it’s exactly what I wanted.

Hearing the engines echo in the valley set the mood fast, and we ended up joking with people from a bunch of countries. The fairy chimneys and dusty tracks looked unreal at sunrise, and the guide was kind and patient. But we waited quite a while before starting, and the helmets weren’t very comfy, which killed the flow a bit. Still, sharing tea after with new friends was the best part.

Our guide took us off the main crowd to a quiet ridge behind the fairy chimneys; the morning light there felt unreal and my photos came out almost like postcards. But we waited around too long and some stops felt rushed, which kind of broke the mood. Still, the dust, the silence, and balloons drifting far away stay with me.
