Our guide started dropping history before we even sat down, and I nearly forgot my breakfast. In two days we squeezed in the fairy chimneys, Göreme Open Air Museum, and an underground city; felt like renting a time machine. Everything ran smooth, I only got out of breath chasing my own photos.
Laith K. 4.0 / 5 Very Good
Small group made Cappadocia feel really private, but waiting at a couple stops was long.
Yassine K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Watching fairy chimneys at sunset with new friends warmed my heart; everything was perfect.
Björk S. 4.0 / 5 Very Good
What surprised me most was being picked up in Istanbul and suddenly, with zero stress, I’m staring at the valleys in Cappadocia. Hotel pick-up was on time and the air-conditioned bus felt really comfy for the long drives. The guide shared a few stories about the fairy chimneys, simple but interesting. My wow moment was watching the sunset over Göreme. But we waited a bit too long at a couple stops, so not a 5.
Chinaza O. 4.0 / 5 Very Good
Our guide made us feel like family the moment we got in the van. Standing in Göreme with those fairy chimneys, the little stories he shared just warmed my chest, and he kept pulling everyone into the group like old friends. Even at dinner nobody sat alone, we all ended up together. But a couple stops felt a bit rushed, I wanted a few more minutes. Still, I miss that valley air.
Wanjiku N. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Our guide had us feeling like family the moment we stepped off the van; one small story he shared at Pigeon Valley gave me goosebumps. Everything was perfect, zero stress.
Efraín C. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Our guide whisked us down a side path and we skipped the ticket lines at Göreme Open Air Museum, no crowd stress. Fairy chimneys, the underground city, and Uçhisar views felt calm and personal. Katalay team kept everything smooth, I just enjoyed it.
Stavros K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Our guide started pointing out the carved details in the rock churches before we even settled in, and I was hooked. In Göreme Open Air Museum the faded frescoes still feel alive, and the stone arches and cut columns are unreal. The underground city tunnels made history feel close, almost breathing. The pacing was smooth, no rushing at all. Katalay team had everything perfectly sorted.
Chinaza O. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Small group, felt exclusive.
Tomislav K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
I can’t get the golden-hour colors out of my head: Göreme turned pink and honey-gold, and the valleys slipped into soft purple. Our guide shared history in a calm way and never rushed us, which made it feel more real. Flights, transfers, even the small details ran smooth. I just stood there looking over the town thinking, wow, this is unreal.
Faisal A. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
The moment they picked me up from my hotel in Istanbul, I felt calm; everything just flowed. Every transfer was on time, and the air-conditioned bus felt like a cool shelter after long walks. Our guide spoke softly about the fairy chimneys and Göreme, and it stayed with me. Sitting at night looking over the quiet valleys, I got emotional like a kid. Katalay team left zero stress.
Wei Ling T. 4.0 / 5 Very Good
Golden hour hit the valleys like a soft fire; the fairy chimneys turned pink and orange and it made me weirdly homesick. Our guide shared stories quietly, so the place felt more real. But a couple stops felt a bit rushed, I wanted longer to just sit with the colours. Still, on the flight back my mind stayed there.
Rizky P. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
The guide’s old stories gave me goosebumps.
Noé B. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Walking between the fairy chimneys, I felt my heart get weirdly light. Our group clicked fast; tea with people from Brazil, Korea, Spain felt like old friends somehow. The guide told stories in a calm, sincere way, and at Göreme Open Air Museum time just slowed down. In the evening the cave hotel was full of laughs, then watching balloons at dawn made me quietly emotional… leaving hurt a little.
Radosław K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Watching the balloons glide over the valley at sunrise, I was sipping tea with new friends from different countries and we were all smiling like kids. The guide made everything easy, nothing felt stressful. Göreme and the fairy chimneys look unreal, but the vibe was so warm and friendly. Everything just worked perfect.
Prakash K. 3.0 / 5 Average
Our guide’s warmth was the best part; walking in Göreme he kept us together like a little family, and his stories stayed with me. But the timing felt messy, we waited too long at some stops and then rushed Uçhisar. The bus was also too warm sometimes. Still, seeing the valleys in evening light is stuck in my heart.
Wing S. 4.0 / 5 Very Good

I didn’t expect golden hour in Göreme to hit me that hard. We stopped at a viewpoint and the whole town and valleys went glowing, like the rocks turned pink, orange, then a bit purple, and everything got quiet. Our guide shared a couple small stories in a calm way, no rushing, just let us watch. It’s hard to catch those colors on camera, but I still see it.

Sindre K. 4.0 / 5 Very Good
The golden hour colors in Göreme hit me out of nowhere; the rocks went pink and honey and I felt like I’d stepped into an old story. Our guide moved so fast, the crowds barely said hello and we were already inside Göreme Open Air Museum. Skip-the-line is a life saver; I never once thought “will I grow old in this queue?” The fairy chimneys look straight out of a cartoon.

Our guide had me speechless in Göreme, telling stories as we stepped into the rock churches and linking tiny marks on the frescoes to how people hid in Byzantine times. Everything ran perfectly, the pace felt just right, and I left honestly a bit obsessed.
Rawan S. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Our guide made us feel relaxed right away and explained everything in a calm way. The flight + hotel setup was smooth, no one was rushing around. I loved walking in Göreme, seeing the fairy chimneys, and the quiet feeling inside the underground city. Dinner felt like home food. A couple stops were a bit short, but overall it was really balanced.
Florian K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
What I loved most was how the small group made everything feel kind of exclusive. Walking among the fairy chimneys in Göreme, the guide’s stories felt really alive. Flights, transfers, hotel… all smooth. The Katalay team quietly had it all sorted.
Ximena P. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Walking between the fairy chimneys felt like being on another planet. The flight and transfers were smooth, which was a relief. Our guide explained Göreme Open Air Museum and Pasabag without rushing, with little stories that made it feel alive. Sleeping in a cave hotel was also different and really cozy. Only thing, the day felt a bit long, but worth it.
Tjaša K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Our guide started dropping stories the moment we got on, and suddenly Cappadocia felt… real. In Göreme Open Air Museum the fresco details had actual drama behind them, and Derinkuyu finally made sense (why it goes so deep). Pace was spot on, zero stress. Katalay team was on it too. 5/5, honestly loved it.
Prakash K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
The moment I got on the bus, it felt like a tiny United Nations—me, a Brazilian, two Koreans, and lots of laughing. Our guide explained the fairy chimneys and Göreme history, and we kept joking like a school trip. Walking in Love Valley, everyone’s photo poses were hilarious, and I almost hugged a rock. The Katalay team made it all smooth; I came back with new friends.
Tsvetan K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
I felt calm the moment they picked me up; everything ran like a clock. Even dozing on the air-conditioned bus felt sweet, with fairy chimneys sliding by outside. The guide’s stories left a soft nostalgia, still in my head.
Chinaza E. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Walking between the fairy chimneys felt unreal in a good way. The flight and transfers from Istanbul were smooth, we didn’t wait around too much. Our guide shared nice stories at Göreme Open Air Museum and the underground city. Hotel was simple but clean, and dinner was better than I expected. Only thing is the schedule felt a bit rushed, but still worth it.
Yuxin L. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Golden hour in Göreme just hit different, the whole valley went pink-gold. Guide was chill and knew a lot, no rushing. Flights/hotel/transfers all clicked smooth. Katalay team replied fast on WhatsApp. 5/5, still thinking about those colors.
Rogelio C. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
I still can’t believe how much we squeezed into so little time. Landed and boom—valleys, fairy chimneys, Göreme Open Air Museum, even an underground city. Fast pace but not stressful. Guide kept it short and clear, hotel was comfy too. 5/5.
Yassine B. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Seeing those weird rock shapes around Göreme made me realize the photos don’t exaggerate. Flights and transfers were smooth, and the hotel was comfy. The guide explained the valleys and the underground city in a calm way, not too much talking. Sunset walk in Red Valley was my favorite part. It’s a packed schedule but worth it.
Tane R. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Our guide started firing off stories before we even properly got going, and I was hooked. Göreme Open Air Museum and the underground city weren’t just “rocks”; the history felt proper alive, like you could picture people hiding and living there. The valley walk was spot on too, unreal views. Everything ran smooth, no stress at all. 5/5 from me.
Kofi A. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
I laughed out loud seeing those carved rooms in the fairy chimneys—like the rock decided to become an architect. Our guide pointed out tiny arches and faded frescoes in the rock churches, and somehow history felt like a fun story, not homework. In the underground city I bonked my head twice (my fault), and we all cracked up. Katalay team kept it all smooth; I just showed up and stared.
Luca B. 4.0 / 5 Very Good
Stepping off the plane, the air in Cappadocia felt totally different, like another planet. Our guide was calm and clear, and told nice stories at Göreme Open Air Museum and the fairy chimneys in Paşabağ. The hotel night was comfortable and the transfers were mostly on time. Only small issue: the return flight meant a very early wake-up, it was a bit tiring.
Tomas K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Stepping into the fairy chimneys gave me this quiet, nostalgic feeling. The group was really small, so it felt kind of private. Our guide told stories of Göreme and Derinkuyu so calmly, no rushing. I still remember the smell of dust.
Wei Ming L. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
I didn’t expect a quiet stop in a Göreme valley at sunset to hit me like that; with the small group nobody rushed us, just stood there watching. The guide shared a few legends and everything ran super smooth. Felt kind of exclusive, not like a crowded tour.
Pascal H. 4.0 / 5 Very Good
I made friends in a dreamy atmosphere, but it was crowded.
Tangeni K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Our guide had us laughing in minutes; in Göreme I made new friends and we went selfie-crazy by the fairy chimneys, and I couldn’t stop laughing like a camel. Everything ran smooth, atmosphere was perfect.
Rania K. 4.0 / 5 Very Good
I felt relieved when our guide met us at the airport, because everything was moving fast. Göreme open-air museum and the views from Uçhisar were really nice, and the fairy chimneys look more impressive than in photos. Hotel was clean and dinner was ok. Only thing, we rushed a bit at some stops and I wish the free time was longer.
Javier C. 4.0 / 5 Very Good
What hit me most was walking the tight tunnels in Derinkuyu and seeing how the stone was carved into vents and heavy doors, like an ancient engineering lesson. Our guide gave quick bits of history that I liked, but a couple stops felt a little rushed.
Federico G. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Our guide whisked us past the lines before I could finish my joke, so I felt like a VIP. At Göreme Open Air Museum the crowds were still stuck at tickets while we were already wandering the rock churches. Paşabağ’s fairy chimneys looked like a cartoon, and I kept posing wrong in every photo. The Katalay team made it all smooth; my only stress was where to breathe between laughs.
Tameka R. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Our guide made us feel relaxed right when we got on the bus, which set the tone for the whole trip. The flight from Istanbul was smooth and we were in Cappadocia pretty quick, seeing the fairy chimneys and the Göreme Open Air Museum. I felt a bit squeezed in the underground city, but it was really interesting. Dinner at the hotel was simple but tasty. I didn’t do the balloon ride, yet just watching them at sunrise was sweet. Everything ran on time going back too, no stress.
Tsvetan K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Golden hour in Göreme hit so hard even my camera begged for a break. Balloons looked like candy in the sky, and the valleys went pink-gold. Guide’s stories were funny, and I accidentally said “good morning” to a donkey. Everything ran smooth.
Yordano G. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Our guide started joking right when we got on the bus and everyone relaxed. In Göreme the fairy chimneys and rock churches don’t feel real, even in photos it looks weird. I got a bit claustrophobic in the underground city but still, it was interesting. Flights and hotel were smooth, only thing is you wake up super early.
Yuting L. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Our guide was calm from the start, which made everything easy. The flight from Istanbul went smooth and in Cappadocia we visited Göreme Open Air Museum and Paşabağ. The fairy chimneys didn’t look like the photos, they were more strange and more beautiful. Hotel was simple but clean. Walking in the valley at sunset was my favorite part, the wind and quiet felt really nice.
Hessa K. 5.0 / 5 Excellent
Watching the balloons lift over the valleys at sunrise was better than I expected. The flight from Istanbul was smooth and everything ran on time. We stopped at Göreme Open Air Museum, Pasabag and Uchisar, and the rock views are not like photos, they feel bigger in real life. The guide explained the history in a simple way, not too much. Hotel was clean and warm, dinner was ok. Only thing, the pace was a bit fast, but we saw a lot in two days.

I still can’t believe how much we squeezed into two days; my brain felt like a USB on full. Our guide explained the fairy chimneys and Göreme Open Air Museum fast but clear, so I was laughing and snapping pics at the same time. In the underground city I felt like I’d joined the finals of hide-and-seek. Everything ran smooth, and the Katalay team fixed little things with jokes. 5/5, tired but super happy.

Our guide’s stories made the frescoes in Göreme Open Air Museum feel alive, like history was hiding inside the rock. In the underground city I kept thinking, how did people even build this? Everything ran smooth, hotel was comfy. The Katalay team handled it quietly and pro. 5/5.

Our guide made us feel chill right from the bus. Hotel pick-up was smooth, and the air-conditioned bus was a lifesaver; Göreme and Paşabağ looked unreal. But timing was kinda messy, we waited too long at a couple stops then rushed others. Hotel was ok, just a bit noisy. Overall nice, just wish it was tighter.

Seeing the balloons at sunrise honestly made me emotional. The flight and transfers from Istanbul were smooth, and we visited Göreme open air museum and Paşabağ. The guide explained the fairy chimneys in a simple way, I liked that. Only thing is we felt a bit rushed at a couple stops and lunch was pretty average. Still, in two days we saw a lot.

Göreme Open Air Museum and Paşabağ were really impressive; the fairy chimneys look more real than in photos. Only issue, sometimes we felt a bit rushed at stops, I wish there was 10 more minutes. Still, we saw a lot in 2 days and I came back tired but happy.

I actually stopped talking when the rocks changed color at sunset. Flight and transfers were smooth, hotel was clean. The guide explained Göreme Open Air Museum and the fairy chimneys in Paşabağ in a nice way, not boring. Dinner was ok, just felt a bit rushed. Next morning we did a short walk in the valleys, it was chilly but worth it.

Our guide’s stories hit me way more than I expected. Standing by the rock churches in Göreme, I felt like I could still hear the old monks whispering. The underground city part was spooky but so fascinating; history stopped being a lesson and became something alive. Everything ran smooth, and the Katalay team was really kind.

Our guide made us feel settled from minute one, like everything was planned just for us. In a small group, walking around Göreme, staring at the fairy chimneys in peace, then catching sunset from Uçhisar… it hit me deep. No rushing, no noisy crowd feeling, just that soft Cappadocia mood. The hotel felt cosy too. Even on the way back, my mind was still in those valleys.

Stepping off the plane and being taken straight to my hotel felt like a small miracle. Pick-up was on time, and the air-conditioned bus was a blessing on those long roads. Our guide shared gentle stories about the fairy chimneys and Göreme, and I felt like I was inside an old tale. But a couple stops felt rushed, so not 5 stars.

I still remember how our guide explained the strange rock shapes around Ürgüp. The flight from Istanbul and the hotel were smooth. Göreme Open Air Museum and the fairy chimneys in Paşabağ didn’t feel real. Dinner was simple but filling. Only thing I wish is we had a bit more free time at the stops.
Yorlando P. 4.0 / 5 Very Good
Our guide explained the carved columns and faded frescoes in the rock churches, and I felt like an ancient architecture detective. In Göreme Open Air Museum I tried counting stone arches (gave up). The underground city had us duck-walking like we were doing limbo inside a boulder. Super fun, but a couple stops felt a bit rushed, so my photos look like I took them while jogging.
Minseo K. 4.0 / 5 Very Good
Our guide was calm and knowledgeable, and I liked the Göreme Open Air Museum and the fairy chimneys at Paşabağ. Flights and transfers were mostly smooth, but there was one very early pickup that made me a bit tired. The cave hotel stay felt special, and walking near the Kızılırmak was quiet and relaxing.

Watching Göreme at golden hour felt like someone dipped the whole town in orange-pink paint. Our guide told stories about the fairy chimneys and rock churches, and I tried to take artsy photos but mostly captured my own shoes. Flights, transfers, hotel… everything ran like clockwork. The Katalay team had it so well organized my only stress was choosing between eating a simit or posing before the light disappeared.
